The actual game is great and I've had lots of fun playing.

However, it is ridiculous that MICROSOFT flight simulator gets trapped in an infinite loop while updating due to MICROSOFT DEFENDER. I've spent 4 hours today trying to patch my game (including attempting a full reinstall, which is still stuck in a loop). Totally game-breaking bug, and from what I've seen on the internet this has been an issue for a long time.

This isn't even the only game-bricking bug I've encountered with this game. A few years ago, my game would crash on startup anytime I tried to play it. It took me a month to find out that a random piece of backup software that came on my external hard drive was causing the problem.

Game is fun, but don't expect it to work consistently.
