Never before have I played a game as profound yet hilarious as The Stanley Parable.
Profound. Yes, I used that word. This game is very much gaming equivalent of a Nolan movie. If there were any lingering doubts about whether video game can be art, this game will dispel all doubts.
But before you dismiss this game as some artsy fartsy crap, it is still very much an exploration game and a quite hilarious one too. The narrator definitely does remind me of Monty Python. It might have something to do with his Britishness.
10/10 would buy the sequel if any were to be released.
