After many hours in this game, including some private group multiplayer, I can safely say I was wrong in my initial review. Sure there are some bugs, but man is it enjoyable over all! I have deciced to go full explorer after earning my keep as a merchant. The idea that at this point in writing the entire Elite community has maybe seen 5% of the universe built into this game is mind boggling. It really is that stupidly big. This also means that as an explorer there is a point to exploration: You get to see stuff others have never seen! And then it bears your name for first discovering it. See, you do not have to be an ace combat pilot to enjoy that, and thus there are choices. Many, many choices. And despite being a tiny speck in the grand scheme of it all, you do have influence on your surroundings. I have no VR set at this time, being stuck with an older i7 sporting a 970 GTX NVidia card, but even on 'just' an HD screen the game is stunning at high/ultra settings.

With so much to do and see, for me this has become a 9/10!

KSP is a true labor of love. Starting off as an obscure indie game back in 2013 (I think?) it grew to become the only true sandbox space exploration simulator. Sure the physics are simplified, sure not all of it is super realistic.. but it's pretty damn close to real rocketry! And above all: It is FUN. If you love rockets and astronauts, and enjoy a little bit of humorous mayhem from time to time, and would like to learn all about space agency management, rocket design, space travel and flying (crashing?) scratch built rockets.. this is the game for you..! 10/10 Would crash into the Mun again (and again.. and again.. and..) ;-)

If you are an advanced grand strategy player and a history buff, this game will be either a lot of fun, or a tad too bland for you. I like the time period and the gameplay, so I would recommend the game.

For me, it's been a really nice spin on what I hoped EU4 would be and wasn't in my hands. The only thing missing is a ledger, but then Paradox games are always a bit of a puzzle-box to figure out, which is part of the fun. The learning curve varies depending on what kind of start you choose, but is generally well done. I will say it needs some polish, but I can forgive its flaws thus far. DLC will be imminent, I am sure, as well as patches. If you're a Paradox veteran, consider how CK2 and Stellaris were initially, and how they've had to evolve. Consider that, and this game is pretty well done already in comparison.


Disclaimer: I bought the game earlier this year AND last week I received a beta key from Paradox to stream it pre-release. My opinion is based on a game I wanted and bought early.

An amazing trip through ancient Greek times, with some mythology and stealth killing thrown into the mix. I love it!

I am old enough to have played the original (sadly I never did!), though I played a lot of its contemporaries, so I hope I am qualified enough to describe the experience. So far I am very pleasantly surprised with this game.

The story is simple but effective: Basically you go in 'blind' and unarmed as a party of newly created adventurers to battle an evil wizard, who has turned the city you are in into a right mess, with monsters and marauders running rampant. Your first task out the (safe) door of the adventurers guild is to find a shop to find arms and armour.

It took me an hour to locate this shop, which ironically was across the street from the guild, but I simply missed it. Best hour in a new game ever! I ran around punching enemies, losing new characters left and right, grabbing new ones at the guild as replacements, and figuring out what to do next.

After arming up, it became even more fun, as my characters survived long enough to level up and I realized I had only just started exploring.

The game is also genuinely funny at times, with a clear wink to early tabletop dungeon crawling of the 70's and 80's.

As a seasoned (A)D&D player I highly recommend this authentic experience in all its dungeon crawly simplicity (it has that 80's D&D CRPG feel to it!). If you enjoyed games like Lands of Lore and Eye of the Beholder back in the day, you're in for a treat.

10/10 would punch all monsters in town unprepared again

After CTD number X and having no option to save between savepoints, having to do an hour of quest AGAIN to get back into the story, I decided to deinstall.

Really, if you are forced to only save when the game allows (savepoints or when carrying insanely expensive schnapps) and THEN having this kind of bug... Bah. Can't recommend.

An excellent new iteration in the former Graviteam Tactics series. If you can chew through the minimal user manual and not-so-accessible user interface, you'll discover an enjoyable, deep simulation completely worth it's price if you're into World War 2 simulators (especially when it's on sale!). One of the coolest roguelikes I have ever played!

- Early Access devs that actually care (rare!).
- Cool developing story, and a clear choice to follow it or ignore it.
- Character/class development that matters.
- Excellent scifi atmosphere in a rogue-like environment.
- A universe filled with factions you can manipulate in all kinds of ways.
- Choices towards factions actually come back to bite you, or help you!
- Turn based combat, vicious as well as challenging.
- Step based exploration, old school 3D tile style.
- Weapons & Armour you can collect and modify ingame.
- Great variety in environments, adversaries and quests.
- The occassional dungeon puzzle.
- Ironman mode, invoking great sense of achievement.
- Pissed off Service Robots that throw kitchenware at you.

10/10 would rob large corporations for shady revolutionaries again

One of the most atmospheric and unforgiving dungeon crawling experiences I've ever played. The only gripe I have is that random dice rolls are sometimes a bit too random, and you end up with a pretty nasty encounter. Yet, this somehow works well into the game experience, as it's you and your band of unlikely heroes in a dark, gothic, rotten world...

Well worth it's price in my opinion.

I am severely disappointed by the game. It's really just Train Fever with a polished AI, a handful of new options and nice(r) graphics. Nowhere near the original Transport Tycoon series gameplay wise. Seven scenarios for each campaign. Really? SEVEN??? Fourteen scenarios to chew through, no thank you, without actual competition as far as I have been able to make out. What's the point in the first place if the only thing you can do is 'win'. look at the pretty new vehicles? I can tune into YouTube if I want to see an old steam train or aircraft do its thing.

Nope, a total let down IMHO.

I can't recommend this title. Buy Transport Tycoon instead if you can run it, or OTTD, it may be 20 years old but it's a ton more fun.
