This isn't the first time items have been paywalled. No one complained about the niche sponsor bundles that will never have a rerun. No one complained about paying $50 solely for primed accessory(ies) and nothing else until the debut of Regal Aya system.

There are many other bundles that are also exclusive and are no longer obtainable (although not as expensive) such as the Prominence (Twitch), Amethyst (Discord), and Onyx (Steam) skins. Even more can be seen with the console exclusives.

These are just exclusive bundles made to fund the game as much as how normal primed accesses are almost extortion-tier. At the very least, I think Heirloom bundle is better than Prime Access because at the very least you have the exclusivity factor that will be permanently applied akin to the Founder's package. The only thing that is terrible is that it does not include Frost Prime or Mag Prime -- I found that extremely stupid. DE is basically encouraging unsuspecting players to use Regal Aya you get in this set for the primes.

This will probably be the biggest case of FOMOS since Founder's until maybe next decade if they decide to pull this off again. Sure, the price is absurdly expensive... but people have paid $50, $100, and even $250 for Founder's. While Founder's package was made to support the game, they still left a mark on that uncertainty and help made what Warframe is today. It should be clarified that this IS NOT the same case -- more on that later.

DE is acutely aware of the controversy this package has generated... they said it themselves that they aren't a fan of exclusivity many times, as old stuff like Excalibur's proto skin which used to be yearly purchasable are permanent. This is DE just trying to capitalize on the 10th anniversary hype with FOMOS.... which is meh. Fortnite does it, Dota 2 does it, your waifu gacha game does it by default, and anything with a battlepass does it.

I highly doubt we'll have anything like again this once it blows over. I just don't like the outrageous price that comes from this package...but at the very least its permanent unlike spending it all on Destiny 2 DLC which will eventually get deleted, wink wink nudge nudge.

Do I regret purchasing this? Yes and no.
Do I feel prettier? A little.
Do I hate myself? Absolutely.

You don't have to buy it, but just like a famous swordsman once said:

"If you want it, then you'll have to take it.... but you already knew that."

It's pretty bad, just like the person who gifted me this game.

It was fun until you realize its filled with bots.
Now that Halo Infinite is out, there's no point in playing this -- devs are cunning and sussy as hell ignoring everything the community speaks out against.
