My favorite thing about Assassin's Creed is when you open the game for the first time and it instantly sends you into a 20 minute unskippable cutscene without being able to change your resolution during any of it.

The original F.E.A.R. is one of the most innovative first person shooters I've ever played and after I finished the story it quickly became one of my favorite video games. This game takes the more conventional route and tries to turn it into a more boring shooter, while also shoving in F.E.A.R. themes. This just doesn't translate well when converting it to your average FPS and feels clunky as well as boring. You can't even peak corners in this game which was a staple mechanic in the first game. Many people say Monolith wanted to take a different route with the second game and try something new, however, this game doesn't feel like a new FPS experience, it actually feels anything but new.

For 2005, this game has some of the most terrifying and aggressive enemy AI in any game I've ever played. It made the experience so immersive. How the enemies interact with the world around them is super innovative. From jumping through windows to avoid being shot, a group of enemies flanking from different locations to get a shot at you from multiple sides, flipping tables or boxes for cover, to even saying things like "flashlight!" when they see your flashlight or lines like "I think we killed him" after you lose sight of them and stop shooting.

It's certainly a video game
