Fantastic addition to a phenomenal franchise.
Online is hella wonky and im always spooped that my cpu is gonna catch fire, but of you're intrigued by MH's gameplay loop you'll still find plenty of enjoyment.

It shows potential, which is vital in any beta. The game itself is overwhelmingly easy, in my opinion, but it's great for casual gaming.
Without a real tutorial, or lore, etc, the game lacks both guidence and meaning. Sure, i'm going through this dungeon. But for what? Sure, an NPC at the base camp says that there's treasure there, but what kind of treasure? And why is my character interested in it? Some strong story wou,d truly benefit this game, and would turn it from a 'i'll play this when it's 3am, and i'm too tired to try at anything, but i still wanna click buttons and kill things.' Into a really, all around, good game.
Would i recomened this? sure. Am i going to preach about it to the heavens and make sure every single living thing on this earth does themselves a favor and tries? Not by a long shot.
