I saw the reviews saying this game was Paper Mario-ish and that was enough for me to buy and try. I have really enjoyed it so far! Would definitely recommend.

DMC 5 is my first DMC game. Vergil is my favorite character.

I got this game on a sale hoping it would work on steam deck even though it said currently unsupported. I actually managed to play it just fine on steam deck (it only crashed 1 time in my first run of the story and had no other issues). It is a perfect casual game to sit down and relax.

The story is short and sweet, and it will make you feel things. I liked it a lot.

I like this game. Just enough of a story to provide context, but not enough to bore you if you don't care much for that kind of stuff (which I don't).

As a fan of rogue-like games and card games alike - I love this game! Right when you might think there isn't enough of a challenge, there's surprises right around the corner waiting for you. Building different decks on each run trying to make the most of your team's synergy is both interesting and extremely satisfying. Especially when you manage to pull off some nice combos.

I've always been a fan of survival / farming type games but I never thought something like this would exist. Very excited to see where future patches and additional content take this game also, as the prospects are quite literally endless. That being said, there's plenty of stuff to do already.

10/10 would recommend this game, great care is taken and the dev really sticks to his own ideas and concepts which has created brilliance. Definitely worth $20.
