This game has a good and consistent feeling of progression. Many hours of content and ways to play

Core game play is fun. Needs some tuning and balance. They have to fix the whole entire rest of the game, but the game play being good leaves me optimistic. The control & customization you have for your vehicles is unmatched in any other sandbox vehicular pvp combat game

Start with the bad: Updates are slow, still no mod support, and bugs take a while to be fixed
The good: There is no other game that offers the survival and creative experience of this game. You have nearly infinite possibility and if you already enjoy other sandbox style building games then this is the game fore you.

Concept is Great. Execution is Decent. Developer transparency is Trash.

This is a super easy game to sink a lot of time into and even when you're losing it's pretty fun. The biggest issue is the communication from Psyonix about the future of the game, and what's being worked on. People have complained about the servers for years and we've had one update that addressed the issue. It's still not fixed, and there has been nothing from the Devs about them working on it. The community is mixed. Everyone thinks they're better than they are but that's how it goes with all comp games. There are some great communities and positive players if you look out for them. The ranked system works okay, but the soft resets have been a plague on the high champ ranks and low-mid GC for years now and Psyonix doesn't seem to care. If they do care the community doesn't know because the Devs keep everything they're working on secret except for cosmetics. There are a few more issues, like with the comp scene, but you get the picture.

With all of that being said, I've sunk well over 3000 hours into the game so obviously these issues are minor compared to how fun the game is (not shown on steam are the 700+ Xbox hours before moving over). In my opinion this game has the most potential out of any esport and can be enjoyed casually or competitively for hundreds or thousands of hours. $12 well spent.
