Just because I'm Kuasi, that doesn't mean I'm crazy.

I am however in a struggle to fight my way through my steam library in an effort to deplete my pile of shame, ever growing, ever intimidating. My current estimate is that I will be done in approximately 3 lifetimes. My plan is to leave my steam library to my children with the caveat that they will have to continue my life's work.

I've been a gamer for over 30 years. I've owned nearly every console since the Atari 800 (computer it was before the 2600). I dabbled in PC gaming around the Doom/Quake/Quake 2 era. I fell out of PC gaming and went back to consoles. Like a lot of folks (damn newbies) I got bored with console gaming towards the end of the 360/PS3 generation and built myself a rig. I don't think I'm going back.

Since then I've formed an ugly addiction to Humble Bundle sales and Steam seasonal sales. I have a disturbing ability to convince myself of the value of a game that is on sale, despite the ongoing likelihood that I'm never going to play the game, even for a minute.

Well, it's finally happened. I'm recieving enough phishing/scamming/begging friend requests and I'm no longer accepting friend requests from low level steam users with private profiles. I'm sure it is inevitable but it makes me a little sad none the less.
