Although it doesn't contain at this moment some of decorations buildable, which can be seen in NPC villages, there are not many variations of buildings, and placement of blueprints for your buildings is rather restrictive, it's still a fantastic game you can sink plenty of time in.

The game is still getting new content updates into the base game a couple of years past its full release. At the end of last year there was co-op and new map added, in the middle of this year bridges & piers, plenty of new decorations with updates to the old map, as also a new update with armours, crests, shields & more, on the day I'm updating this review.

Highly recommend for 1st/3rd person building & life simulation fans.

The best driving sim I've played for the past 10 years. Updates and new content are still being rolled out, hence it's getting from me "Labor of Love" Steam award nomination almost every year.

The game is quite a time sink. When you start playing in afternoon, you only find it's time to finish when it's already dawn. If you love building & simulation games and you'd like to see how airports are generally functioning it's a game for you.

(UPDATED to remove no longer relevant points after exit from Early Access)

Early Access Review
It's your own Mars (and asteroid belt) Exploration Program simulator.

In the game you control probes or rovers in real time (unlike in real life, where their control sequences are preprogrammed, and in emergency they are automatically put in a safe mode). It isn't only about exploring Mars, but also its moons and asteroids. You can also operate rover on Earth.

The objectives are quite repetitive (ride there, shoot photos, analyze air, soil, rocks, take a sample, all this to get funds and unlock next levels of available hardware which you will send to Mars next), but it isn't a boring game. You need to be careful to not break the equipment (or wheels), and watch out for strong wind, as small rovers and probes are quite light and fragile. It's currently in active development, so some things may still change and a new content (like sample analyze results currently having a placeholder) will be added.

It's a great game for space geeks, people who like realistic vehicle simulators, and other people who want to view Mars from rover's perspective.

Very addicting game about building rockets and sending them into space.

Great modding support with plenty of mods of various kinds available. You can sink hundreds and thousands of hours playing it and enjoying that time - i.e. it isn't grinding like in other time sinks (majority of the time during game's Early Access I played running it outside of the Steam client, so not all is counted on Steam).

If you like building rockets and you know at least basics of orbital mechanics, or you ever tried Orbiter Space Flight Simulator, you will like this game.

A nice and full of humor game where you transplant human (and alien) organs at surgery, in ambulance in motion, at space station (and on Mars, and who knows what they will add more in next updates) by controlling surgeon's hand. Despite "Simulator" in the game's title, no 100% realism is intended, but only fun.

It's also a game which teaches you how to use the mouse differently, i.e. after playing it constantly for 2-3 hours you have hard time switching back to the normal "point & click / double click" mode for some 5 minutes.

People either love it or hate it, and the most hate comments are about "impossible" to handle game controls, which your can actually get used to after a short time (keys can be redefined if that helps). You can always test whether you will like the controls on the Game Jam prototype / demo of the game, which is available for example at developer's site.

In overall, I like the game much, and (in my opinion) it's one of the best games from the Steam's Greenlight program released in 2013.

Early Access Review
A really nice 1st person adventure.

As it's in Early Access (version 0.3.3) at the time this recommendation is written, it contains only 1/3 of the dreams you can explore (if I got right what the devs say) - currently some 5-8 hours of gameplay, and the existing locations, narration (story), and puzzles still get updates, but the final release sometime next year shows promise as one of better exploration puzzle adventure games.

UPDATE: As of version 0.4.2.1, there's currently around a half of the game done, with Act II present in the game, yet without it's nightmare dream or story and 1 side dream, and according to developers the story of the Act I is being rewritten. The Act II dream and it's single side dream added for now some additional 2 hours of gameplay.

A really nice and surreal action adventure puzzle game. I usually prefer 1st person perspective in 3D games where you control a single character, but since I enjoyed playing this one, which is purely 3rd person, I can say it's a really good game.

A downside is that it's a little short. Playing for the first time, you can finish it in about 4 hours, and 1-2 hours on the 2nd play through (if you don't search thoroughly for "secret" locations, which are only useful after you've already finished the game at least once ;)).

Great for creating dozens of beautiful, scenic wallpapers for your desktop (in screen's native resolution). But beware, this is no action game. The gameplay is short and quite linear, and the only things you can do is walk, look around, and zoom in a little. But that's just ideal for making screenshots.
