The game is amazing and fun. But in my opinion it needs some little changes.
I think it would be better if you had immunity while using the abilities. No point on spinning around with a giant sword while losing +100 hp sometimes, and even worse, that at the end the character stays in the place to receive even more damage.
And Lydia needs a HUGE buff, I had a bad time trying to pass 3-5 on easy.
