That feeling when the MC goes to Egypt and beats the ♥♥♥♥ out of a muscular vampire dude with his persona is just full of the exaggerated swagger of a Japanese teen. 10/10

This is the only game that makes me say, 'Thank you, Satan,' for not one-shotting the MC with his Megido Ark—instead of thanking God. 10/10 game. I'm gonna be that dad who, when I see my kids in the future playing Persona on my PC, I say "Step aside lil one, it's time for a real man to play" and proceeds to boot up SMT.

Loading screen the game. Not worth it, Just buy SMT 5: Vengeance--same price, whole different quality.

The game shies away from the story, gameplay, music, and character aspect. The story is there, not that good and not that bad either, it feels like a wasted potential considering they created a brand-new "fantasy" world filled with unique elements.

Gameplay is okay, your usual Persona gameplay with lil bit of SMT, it's pretty engaging but nothing extraordinary.

The music is hit or miss for me, with most tracks missing the mark. It feels underwhelming and has little to no variants. How come a random bird get a godly OST but major boss fights have the lamest battle music ever in any 'medieval fantasy' game I've ever played.

The characters are pretty dull. They just dont feel likeable, relatable and memorable. They repeat the same lines over and over. Like stop it, I Get IT DUDE, you want to save your family but please shut up. For a whole game and hardly any character development.

UI is amazing, the artwork, the animation, the effects are perfect!!!. But I find the UI especially the main menu is pretty overwhelming in a bad way and unnecessary. I often game at night and seeing bright pretty colors, big ass text, and complex animation only for me to check a character's stat felt annoying and making me dizzy, I don't know probably I'm getting old or maybe it's just too much.

The biggest problem is the loading screens. Seriously, it's 2024! How does a big-budget game have so many loading screens? I walk five steps—loading screen. Open a map or menu—loading screen. Even the loading screen have a loading screen.
For $70, this game isn’t worth it. Just buy SMT 5: Vengeance—it’s a thousand times more fun.

Rarely do I play games like these, and most of them are either hit or miss. But this one slaps. The pacing in the first half of the story is perfect, but the last half has so much unnecessary dialogue that it took me out of the buildup. The story itself is okay, but the last part felt dragged out to make the game longer. I get it, though, with these types of RPGs: the story starts with ordinary people living their lives, and bam!! The next thing you know, you're fighting a GOD. As for the characters, they make you go from "Who the ♥♥♥♥ is this character? They are so boring; what even is their ability?" to "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, this person cooks. ima use this character for the rest of the game."

Gonna recommend it. The visuals are good, the combat is engaging and has depth, and the story is just barely entertaining enough for me. What kept me going were the cast—they are superb.

It's just not fun. I tried to enjoy it to the utmost, but it just won't work.

Sure, we get new weapons, skills, armor, and godly visuals, but the current gameplay mechanics feel outdated compared to Nioh or Wu Long (Sekiro) when fighting SotE enemies and bosses. It becomes tedious or a rolling festival later in the last half of the game, overshadowing the new content, which is sad.

All in all, is it a good DLC? Absolutely. Is it fun though? It depends. For me, it's not. Base game is already great enough and more fun anyway.

Edit: It's fun now. I just found out that some of the bosses attacks can be parried. At least now it's not a full-on rolling festival; only roll on attacks that can't be parried. These little engagements make a huge difference. Some bosses and enemies are still tedious to fight, but at least it's fun now. I think it's about time FromSoft branches out into new gameplay mechanics other than the 'good ol' Souls mechanic'.

We have 'Gran' and we have 'Versus' in the game already, now all we need is 'blue', 'fantasy', and 'rising' otherwise this game will be branded for misleading content.
