Darkest Dungeon 2 is different from Darkest Dungeon 1. It isn't "more of the predecessor". It's it own thing. But this makes it better.
DD2 is a rogue-like take on the original. It is less grindy and more satisfying. The overhauled combat feels amazing - you just can't go back to DD1 once you understand the basics. Graphics look stunning, being both colorful and grim-dark at the same time.
Definitely worth your time and money.

Darktide had a rough start, yes, but it is great now. The gunplay is amazing and the soundtrack is an absolute banger. You can feel the dark atmosphere of Warhammer 40k as you slay the meaty hordes of enemies charging to kill you. If you don't mind the repetitive gameplay, go and die for the glory of the Imperium. The Emperor Protects!
