This game is amazing fun, first exploring the galaxy (no two games are ever the same) and the music can be so entrancing. If you love 4X games, this galactic take on that genre is worth the money.

A classic early 1990s DOS platformer. Its not a difficult game to master, just requires patience and problem solving to play as the levels get harder. One could in theory speedrun this game very easily.

I enjoy it because I played the first episode many times when I was younger on an old Tandy computer running DOS 5.0 when I visited my grandparents during the summer.

Streamlined grand strategy game for WW2. Great for casual games with friends.

This trucking simulator is quite impressive and its still has plenty of room to expand. Its easy to get into and learn the some of the skills of being a trucker. Its sister trucking simulator, European Trucking Simulator, is massively popular for its detail in Europe, given time I expect the same out of ATS.

The DLC is inexpensive and adds considerable value to a simulator game that is only $20 initially. If you've enjoyed trucking simulators before, I think you may find this one to be an excellent addition to your collection.

This game deserves a sequel, but PDS teases us with how they say they can't improve upon it. The game is typical Paradox, challenging but addicting. It has a complex world trade simulator that is full of potential but difficult to master. It has a diplomacy system that requires you to engage the world, otherwise you might find yourself isolated without allies. And it shares the military mechanics as its big sister game Europa Univeralis III and its niece Europa Univeralis IV. Of the core games that Paradox Interactive is known for, this is the last one that hasn't seen a sequel and its much deserved.

The conquering mechanics of Risk and Civilization expanded to make the Grandest of Grand Strategy games. No where near as difficult to learn as its predecessor Europa Univeralis III, it still requires a learning curve.

Based on world history as much as possible it allows players to explore a number of What Ifs. From denying France its ability to consolidate to the success of historically short lived Asian empires, to just preservering the Byzantine control of Constantinople, there's many scenarios and limitless possiblity.

Winning is based on personal goals and less on score.

The best part... its numerous mods that take the game farther into fantasy or just greatly expand its basis on world history.
