My mom walked in on me playing this, how do I explain?

Arguably the best non-FromSoftware take on the Soulslike genre.

• Great Atmosphere
  
• Artistic Style & Graphics
  
• Sound Design
  
• Variety of Weapons: Unique system for swapping handles and blades.
  
• Content: Well worth the full price.
  
• Krat City: Exceptionally designed.
  
• Enemy Variety: Unique and varied moves.
  
• Optimization: Runs even on Steam Deck. No crashes or stutters.
  
• Graphic Options: Not limited to 60 FPS, take note FromSoft.

• Animation & Parry: Pacing and visuals inconsistent.
  
• Hitboxes: Pretty bad and can lead to ♥♥♥♥♥♥ moments where you just get stuck in a corner and attacks that CLEARLY are no where near you are tagging you.
  
• Camera Issues: A plague in the genre.
  
• P-Organ System: Basic QOL issues that should be inherent. Feels like the ripped half the mechanics and are giving it back over time through the P-Organ system. Don't ever do this system again. These don't belong in these type of games IMO.
  
• Weight System: Constantly overweight despite investing in capacity. Really weird despite they give you the option to keep putting on more stuff but you can barely use whats given.
  
• Difficulty Spikes: Elites and minibosses often harder than main bosses. All over the place.
  
• Delay Animations: Please stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ using them in these games. Soon the bosses will just start seizing and you'll have to have 0.00001 nano second reaction time to even move.

Needs some balancing tweaks. The parry window could be more forgiving, and the throwables seem busted. The game has too many gimmicky aspects that make fights less about skill and more about getting around these issues. You're also forced to commit to a build due to late-game respec options. Still, a fun and enjoyable game that's worth playing. Will definitely scratch the soulslike itch for many. We also have Lords of The Fallen coming next month or something so hopefully that one is good also.

After a lot more hours and time has passed, I just don't think this game is that great or worth the money. Maybe on a 50% sale.

Content is dull, story is dull, worlds are boring, cities are small and meh, ship building is largely useless, loading screens just for loading screens, dialogue is meh. Just a meh game, 5-6/10.

Id rather play skyrim for the 10000th time than play this ever again tbh.

Great Game

Extremely generic and boring, idk what else to say. I guess if you've only ever played Ubisoft open world games then this would feel amazing but theres just nothing "fun" about it and the story is cool at first but just becomes so uninteresting.

I played on ps4 and didn't find it that great and bought it for pc to give it another try and I just can't.

Very polished and fun game.

A lot of content for $15, if you like Squad or Battlefield then this should be an insta buy.

Very fun game especially with friends.

Matchmaking needs improvement and allow for more specific filters (like which level you would like to play etc). You have no control on who you get paired with. A lot of ppl will group hop if the levels are too low.

Needs more programs (ik it just came out and is early access so I am not too worried but I can see people after 20-30 hours wanting more).

Add an fov slider, there are already ways to do it via INI files just let people do it ingame. Enough of the "but our horror game immersion" bs that so many games do.

This game is a 10/10 with friends
However, its like a 5-6/10 solo. You can't even pause the game solo or anything. Yes its definitely more challenging but this game feels 100% designed around 3-4 players in the later challenges.

The game is supposedly going to be increasing in price overtime so FOMO andy's buy now (even if 50/50 on it) or wait till its $60 :P

Very fun game, hopefully new content really improves the depth to the characters and creates more variety.

Edit as of Sept 2023: Where is the content? I know stuff is planned but so far, post release content has been non-existent. The game sadly becomes a joke when you figure out what you are supposed to do. If a decent amount of content and fixes aren't added within the next 6-12 months, idk if I can recommend this game to anyone after that.
