To the people leaving negative reviews simply for the topics explored and claiming them to be "shoved down your throat," no one forced you to play this game. You could've easily read a short review or description of the game before playing. I for one like to know what I am going to be playing before doing so.
Anyhow, the game is pretty good, as I'd expect from DONTNOD. Achievements are also pretty straightforward as well for those who care. The only downside to this game is that I am up to my waist in debt currently. I have been living off of free samples from my local deli for the past year. Other than that, the game is awesome and worth a play, especially for free!

Before i played Borderlands, i had a small wee-wee, no friends, no girlfriend, depression, and absolutely no life. These things haven't changed, but the game is pretty good.

a few select levels were pretty challenging but despite the reviews the game was actually fun, required depot download for access some levels, I even got top #5 on one of the levels! An enjoying game to 100% complete!

Its a good game yeah, but the themes explored are kind of generic and not really creative. (a bullied brother, failing marriage of your parents, weakening relationship with a significant other) The uninspired ideas make it hard to really care all that much about the characters because who hasn't already heard a story about what is in the spoiler text? Also, the price tag is pretty out there. The game is about 4 to 6 hours of gameplay I'd say and I can't really justify $20 for the experience. On the other hand, if you got this from the 99 cent EA Play sale, well you can't complain. One thing it did pretty well at least was the music, it helped set the mood for certain missions pretty well. Also, the metaphors used throughout the game to represent people in Kay's life or other problems were pretty well done. For the completionists, the game sports pretty straightforward and simple achievements and easy collectibles.

What can i say, its awesome. Truly surprised by how well the split screen worked and wasnt really disorienting at all. Amazing game and story overall, what else would you expect from the studio behind Brothers a Tale of Two Sons?
