I enjoyed the game, but the story is ♥♥♥♥♥♥. I can almost guarantee they scrapped the whole thing after they fired Chris Avellone and never came up with anyting to replace it. Say what you will about his writing style, but it would still be better than nothing at all.
Besides that though - I never played the game on release, so I can't comment on that, but right now it's a very enjoyable experience. I had fun for the msot of my tiem with the game, but I don't see any point going any further.

My favorite Bethesda game. It's great.

One of the best RPG games of all time in my opinion. I can't be bothered to play something like BG2, but I love this. I'm not even talking about the story only. It's just very fun to explore the world and shoot at stuff. Great game.

I don't play many tactics games, but I like this one a lot. Maybe it's not as complex as something like XCOM, but I love it. The graphics, the designs, the music, the characters. It's great.

It's really a shame to give this a negative review. It's not a bad game. It's even rather good if you never played the original. But if you did - it's just so disappointing. They had 10 years to learn from their mistakes and instead the game is worse in some aspects. Te only thing, that is definitively better is the graphics, everything else is a downgrade. Music sucks, story is even worse than in the original, enemy variety is non-existent for the size of the game. I really hoped this would be my GOTY, but I would rather replay the original again instead of completing this one.
TLDR: If you never played DDDA - it's a good game on a 50% off discount, if you did - you really don't lose much from never playing this one.

Sony still sucks for making such decisions in the first place, but as long as it doesn't - game good.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution was clearly inspired by Robocop in some ways. Now we have Robocop being inspired by Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Great game.

Great RPG with great characters and even better soundtrack.

A great game with bad performance and worse villains.

I refuse to acnowledge the DLCs even exist, but the main game IS soild. Gameplay is fun and music is great. Bit of a shame the devs learned all the wrong lessons from this.
