It's everything I wanted the first game to be and more. Plus, the campaign (excluding the intro mission) is playable in CO-OP. Need I say more?

Gunslinger is easily the best game in the series, and also just a fantastic game on its own; action-packed, tightly paced, and filled with so much wit, style, and personality that it’s hard to believe it was published by Ubisoft. A strong recommendation from me.

Hellblade II is neither the masterpiece critics have made it out to be nor is it the irredeemable dumpster fire some claim it is. When you look past its gorgeous presentation and excellent performances, what you'll find is a frustrating mess of a game--a dated walking-sim occasionally broken up by boring puzzles and terrible combat sections, all held together by a story that has its moments, but ultimately falls apart under any amount of scrutiny.

I disagree with the opinion that you can’t make a sequel to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, because what makes this game all the more frustrating to me is that it does have a story to tell--one about healing and helping others overcome their trauma. Sadly, it spends too much time wallowing in the same themes as before, leaving its more interesting topics for the last quarter of the game. Too little, too late, I say.

I take absolutely no joy in saying this, but I don’t recommend Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.

Turn off the dialogue and skip all the cutscenes for the optimal experience. Trust me, the only thing you'll miss out on is some dated Marvel-esque dialogue. Yeah, sounds great, right?

As for the game itself, it is by no means a must-play, but it's a fairly entertaining Doom Eternal-style shooter, albeit way too short and a significant downgrade when compared to the previous two. While I am relieved that it isn't a semi-open-world looter-shooter like Shadow Warrior 2, I'm disappointed by the small arsenal and overly-linear level design--the latter contributing to the game's anemic length.

The melee has also been gutted; the combo system is gone, and the katana is no longer a separate weapon, instead being reduced to a quick attack. It's no longer an essential part of your arsenal, and I only used it for the achievements and then let it sit in my inventory for the rest of the game.

The gunplay, on the other hand, is delightfully punchy and is bolstered by the meaty sound design and over-the-top gore. This could've easily been the best entry in the series if they had nailed the level design and narrative tone. Still, I do recommend it, and you'll probably enjoy it more if you haven't played the other games.

So, pick it up on a deep sale, play through it in an afternoon, and then never think about it again. That's what I did, anyway.

A meandering story, lifeless atmosphere, and non-existent gameplay make DINNERDINNNER an easy skip.

In an industry that often prioritizes bloated games with no cohesive design, Metal: Hellsinger bursts in with a screeching guitar riff and shows everyone how it’s done! It pitches an appealing premise--that of a rhythm FPS--and proceeds to deliver on it while effortlessly avoiding the rot that weighs down many games today.

The result is five ridiculously entertaining hours of headbanging action, supercharged by an adrenaline-pumping soundtrack featuring a star-studded lineup of old and new Metalheads alike. And you know what? The story ain’t too bad, either, and is told with an enjoyable amount of style and personality.

Metal: Hellsinger, as a whole, is polished, innovative, unpretentious, and most importantly fun, and the industry could certainly use more games like it. I absolutely love it, and I strongly recommend you check it out.

Yes, I recommend Repella Fella. I came for the oddball humor and adult swim-esque art style and stayed because I got invested in the carefully crafted world and compellingly crude characters. While I am a bit disappointed with elements of the gameplay (I wish there were more interactive elements during the cutscenes), it’s still perfectly enjoyable for what it is, and doesn’t detract from everything else the game does well. It is, overall, a triumph of the solo development field, and it has heart, which is something we need more of in this increasingly cold and corporate industry.

I want a sequel, so go buy it! Now!

Is it as good as the original Resident Evil 4? In my opinion, no. It lacks the campy charm and mysterious atmosphere, which were part of what made the original so special. But is it a good game on its own? Yes. Actually, it's a great game.

With tight controls, excellent visuals, and that same rewarding gameplay loop, Resident Evil 4 (REMAKE) is a fantastic experience that will delight veterans and new players alike. The Separate Ways DLC is pretty good, too.

This is possibly the most generous thumbs-up I have ever given because while Necromunda: Hired Gun’s core gameplay is fun, almost everything else surrounding it ranges from mediocre to bad. The poorly implemented looter-shooter mechanics and badly paced story serve only to waste your time, and the game, overall, suffers from a lack of polish.

But underneath its many issues lies a fast, frantic, ultra-violent shooter that will (mostly) scratch that DOOM itch. It gives you plenty to work with in both weapons and abilities, and the open-level design lets you put all of it to good use. I think you’ll have fun with it, even if you’re not a Warhammer fan. Also, it has a grapple- sorry, grapnel hook. I can’t complain about that.

Recommended, but wait for a deep sale.

One of the best Half-Life 2 mods I've ever played. Honestly, it's hard to believe this is a mod; it feels like something Valve could've made. And while I do love the original Entropy: Zero, this completely stomps all over it in terms of gameplay, storytelling, and presentation.

I would have happily paid for this.
