Another pump and dump pay to win game that pits you against the purchasing power of the other teams credit cards.
PvE is basically non existent, as this only comes in the form of training matches that offer one time basic rewards.

If you're free to play, you're not the customer, you're the kill-able content for players who are buying elite mechs, weapons and upgrades. In addition to this, due to the limited player base you will often end up getting "matched" against players who are higher ranked than you. So expect to get ganged up on and die a lot.

Even outside of matches, everything feels like a chore. From sluggish character movements, repetitive dialogue and forced cutscenes before every match with no option to skip. Every time you open the game you are bombarded with 7 - 8 advert cards encouraging you to buy something.

Quitting the game is also cleverly hidden away such that you either have to go into the options menu, yes, the options, to quit, or just straight up alt+f4. I wish I was kidding.

Just about the only thing good in this game is the quality of the mech models, however, if you're a fan of the wider gundam series, you'll be disappointed to know that this only has a collection from the universal century.

I like this game, I really do. But lately, every time I want to play it, it seems to have to download an update. It will only be a few megabytes, but somehow this results in having to rewrite as much as 20gb of data. Sometimes I will be in game, only for it to crash and then force another update. I can't tell if these are updates for the core game, or for community mods that I have subscribed to, but it's really ruining the experience for me.

It's getting close to being unplayable some days, and it's certainly not a game I can just spontaneously fire up, as I know it will take 20 - 30 minutes for it to patch a huge amount of files each time.

Good game, but a login bug is preventing me from playing online with friends.

It forces me to log into an xbox live account in order to play online. However, it doesn't let me choose which account to use. It keeps trying to log me in to an account that I don't know / don't have access to, and doesn't give me the option to choose another account.

The game play is mostly good, but on quite a few occasions, hostile mobs seem to be drawn to your location despite being far from their usual spawns / routes. You can be focused on a task and suddenly get taken down by a wolf spider out of nowhere.

By far the most annoying thing in this game is the aphids. These little buggers climb a piece of grass, hide amongst the blades then continue to chirp 2 times every second and never leave. You get 2 or 3 of these near your base and you will never get a moments rest from their noise.

I don't like being forced to agree to 3rd party ToS to access my own scripts and blueprints.

Feels like a very shoehorned console port.
Game never closes properly and always leaves an instance of the game running that can't be killed.

Stunning visuals.
Fast paced action.
Reasonably decent voice acting, even though I loved FFX's awkward english dialogues....
Brilliant story.
I loved it so much that I bought it for both PS4 and PC.

This has been an ever evolving game over many years.
It's had it's ups and downs.
It's new interface is a little clunky at times, and gets massive frame rate drops occasionally.
But at least the new levelling mechanic seems to make sense.

Doesn't run at all. The window opens on my desktop showing a black screen, and my headset constantly goes dark, then shows the default loading area, then dark again and repeats.

Game video and art shows PvE.

The game has none.

Asked for a refund from nexon.

"We have a no refund policy."

Mods are blunt, unsympathetic and unhelpful.

I posted a complaint about this on the discussions board and low and behold, they have banned me from the discussions board on steam community.

Does "pay to win" come to mind whilst playing this?
Yes, yes it does.
The game is in a constant state of war because THE WAR NEVER ENDS.
Hacking is rife within this game and players who get very good at it without hacks are often accused of hacking.
When my friends all start getting banned and I have no one to play with, it became less interesting.
