Neither expansion pack for Cyberpunk nor the Starfield are out yet, but even despite that, Baldur's Gate looks like a strong contender if not a winner for a game of the year. It's everything good RPGs should be. It features captivating story full of twists and turns, stellar cast of characters, all of whom have their own backgrounds and aspirations, and a rock solid, extremely playable combat system. It's the best 2023 game to date of this review, and possibly after. Easy recommendation and a AAAA experience if you enjoy tactical RPGs.
