I never played fallout or anything skyrim only a little never got into it. But im addicted to this now. Got it on sale finally and glad I didnt listen to people complaining. I got a buncha games for xmas and this is all I play. I'm 55 hours in and moving along well just doing whatever quest i feel like(so much more i've hardly cracked the surface). But thing is im still learning things like crafting mods for weapons and armour(I like pockets I'm a hoarder) and really figuring out what skills I want(action points and pistols...I'm too lazy to aim anymore once I figured it out lmao) and all the little nuances that make the gameplay so much more deep. It's quite amazinginly intuitive and engrossing. May be like my favorite game ever. No joke.

If you wanted to play this and some negative reviews make you second guess it....you should get it. Idk why creation club is so hard for people ive clicked on it twice and only to get the free things (horse power armour and some paint) I dont buy stuff but like its in the menu before you enter the game and never intrusive or needs to be clicked lol. Seems stupid to complain about it. I don't use any mods as of now because the game is fine for me and it said mods dont let you track acheivements and i want that so.

btw I play on a laptop(usually laying in bed) with radeon r7(which is nothing special) and this game runs perfectly on medium or high and still looks great.
Oh and the steam controller is amazing with this game its all pre setup and very well might i say. Only thing I tweaked is sensitivity. Def the only game I want to play anymore for a while becuase they say there is like 400plus hours of gameplay to be had here. So for 25 bucs you should def buy it.

It's funny how like split people are on playing this for 1k hours and hating it all the while? or loving it writing a positive review
I also think the voice acting is great. I play as the girl and she has like the soft hint of humor and sarcasm in basically everything she says because underlying it all you know you/her are a badass and will kill any person you are talking to if they annoy you. I actually enjoy her talking and when I can say something sarcastic.

And someone complained and said all you do is go into dungeon like buildings and kill things and pick stuff up. I'd say yeah thats the concept of many games lmaoo enter new areas kill stuff look for anything good to loot. But untill you really know the point of the the junk you just grab most of it but even after knowing like you want desk fans and globes because they have screws you still pretty much need a lot of junk so you grab it all and let the game figure it out and pack your companion full of tons of random junk till you go home and store it all in 1 click to the workbench which sorts and breaks it all down into components automatically as you craft and tells you what you have and need and you can highlight say screws or adhesive and the game will show you those objects so you are more aware of the item you need to keep making pockets on all your armour so you can pick up more crap haha lol ;). I mean its fine for me I like it plus you are always looking for that comic book or magazine on the table for a stat boost. And just trying to keep pushing through missions and sidequests whatever seems quickest so you can level up and get a point to upgrade your character to be able to carry more junk...The actually game term is "junk" lol
It's like lets see I can be stronger and smarter and faster or I can carry more globes desk fans and ash trays.....you decide

I've had it for a month. I've played anything from Genesis SNES GBA N64 GameCube emulators even starcraft2 on blizzard to using it as a remote for movies...btw I use an HDMI cable with a laptop to a TV and couch play. And it's simply amazing lol.

And on to steam. I've used it from binding of Isaac to team fortress to rise of tombraider to shadow of war Skyrim even Terraria I played through most of half life source again was very fun. I've used it more than half with non steam games but any game works really. I've seen some amazing arma3 control schemes. You can jus download a community layout or do it yourself. I myself prefer to just use the legacy keyboard bindings for basically everything and emulate the keyboard I never really tried doing xinput or whatever. Even like Sonic I jus reverted to keyboard bindings instead of just mapping the Xbox controller like Sega wants lol.

I love the tactile or haptic feedback under the touchpad I guess that's what its called. I keep it on highest. And idk why people say it feels cheap it feels fine to me I love it..

Thing is I haven't even really even touched the surface of what it can do there is so much customization it is overwhelming and I think that can be a turn off for some people because it doesn't always just or hardly ever just work how you want so you almost always spend 15 min mapping the keys. But that's what PC players do lol. I don't mind it I usually map the bindings myself anyway.

Even this review hasn't scratched the surface of what this can do. I will note that I've been laptop gaming since I joined steam in 2011 so the touchpad are second nature and I would never use anything else because I'm so comfortable with them. But remember it doesn't matter how you feel you need to emulate a mouse NOT A JOYSTICK of you emulate a joystick you will hate the controller. That's like using a cellphone on screen joystick and is just plain horrible. The mouse emulation is like a laptop. Turn on some acceleration and flick n glide and tap to stop then swing around and shoot em in the head complete 180 perfect control. Let's say I have most time in team fortress of any game and I jumped right in not missing a beat with this.(laptop player)

I haven't even messed to much with gyro but I've tinkered breifly with the gyro enabled on touch like existentialegg promotes.
If you want to know more about the controller go to YouTube and type existentialegg and the guy has an entire YouTube channel dedicated to playing games and making layouts on steam for the controller and will walk you through it.

To me this should be a 10 star 100% positive item. Anyway take care yall. I may review this in another few months! Oh and the case is actually a must have my sister bought me it and like I was like eh I don't need a case but boy do I even love the case lmao!

I am not good but im getting the hang of playing and the like objective of the game lol. I never really played rogue like games so I was kinda taken back. lol Anyway I hear it gets better as you learn it. So take the time to play. Anyway I've barely played and just wanted to say $1.32 for the game and DLC. Why not. SWIM had the game and i played it but I only had died twice and quit. I didnt know I was kinda supposed to be dying its expected. So anyway I seen this deal and debated on the 33% off for the rebirths with much more content and revamped engine. But in the end the little experiance I had of the game and the fact I hardly ever finish a game before I lose interest I decided to get the regular Binding of Isaac Collection at 80% off for 1.32 and like I jus played it for an hour and got my moneys worth. Plus I feel like all the stuff id be paying for I wouldnt appreciate cuz I never played vanilla lol. 1 dollar it really doesnt matter. But I have to admit now that I'm playing the game it has some qaulity to it that you like forget ur playing a 16bit roguelike game that cost a dollar. Lol idk it just has a qaulity that is endearing. :)

This game is so awesome. I had it and beat it with friends a while ago but didn't own it. I had to buy it here, I was craving it. Just so much stuff to do and its addicting as crap. You can get crazy armours with beetles that defend and unicorns that run fast and tons of paints and its really quite insane...........I heard someone else say sometimes i take a break and play real life. That's how this makes you feel lmao
