One of the most thrilling, pulse-pounding multiplayer games I've ever played. What sets it apart from other battle royales comes down to three things:

1. The immersive and gameplay-enhancing sound design, that never ceases to be impressive. Each creak, each footstep needs to be listened for, with the ambient sounds adding to the sublime binaural atmosphere.
2. A unique game structure that combines PvP and PvE, paired with excellent map design that encourages constant small decisions.
3. Weapons feel great to use, every gun and grenade being useful in their own way and having a meaty punch.

Love this game, really hope the updates don't stop and the playerbase is maintained, no other shooter out there that scratches this itch. Awesome setting too, who doesn't wanna creep around dilapidated occult swamps in the late 1800s?
No pay-to-win either.
Please buy it.

A distorted funhouse mirror of capitalism, with impeccable/abysmal vibes.

Fun engaging levels, surprisingly good music and its sheer uniqueness among other old-school shooters is worth the price of admission alone. You can tell a lot of thought and soul was put into this game, has more depth to its ideas than simply shooting demons. The immersive sim elements are just complex enough to be interesting and you're always curious to see what is around each horrifying corner. Genuinely a work of art IMO.

A perfected mix of tactical fighting games and Battlefield, Mordhau is the Cities Skylines to Chivalry's Sim City.

Brilliant addictive gameplay loop, with the tone and style of the first game intact with its transition to 3D. Looking forward to
new updates, but its still great on release

Best party game out there, endlessly replayable, with actual depth and hilarious mechanics that interact with each other in both expected and unexpected ways. Totally worth the £10 standard price

Absolutely gripping from the start. Already in love with it, definitely worth the discount on it at the moment.

This game's atmosphere, writing and tone are something truly special in the glut of indie releases on Steam. It feels like a cozy novel, an experimental stage play and an arthouse film in character and quality, while maintaining the interactivity of the medium. Recommended for those bored with shallow narratives and wanting a game with a slow-burning and charming experience.

Bandits came for our supplies.

As we drew up arms to fight the invaders, our dog (Woofy) ran to the frontline and attempted to bark and scare off an attacker. This did not go well.

The bandits were driven back, abandoning their raid in face of bullets and verbal abuse.

One was captured, and punished for his crimes.

The outpost's local doctor made sure to keep him alive and awake. Slowly, his organs were harvested one by one, and sold off to an orbiting trader.

Woofy was entombed in a sarcophagous and enshrined for all future colonists to pay respects, while any dead humans were relegated to ditches outside.

Just another day in Rimworld.
