Simply one of the best current-day farming games you can get.

Easily my favorite cozy game of this kind. Looks awesome, plays great and has a very nice soundtrack to go with it. It's not long, but it's so nice I'd say it might even be worth at its normal price but it's a must-get on a sale if you're into these sorts of games.

Great JRPG, had a blast with it. Very nice soundtrack, visuals, combat and characters. The story is fine. I've always looked at the Suikoden games but never played any, but from all I've watched of them this game feels like a solid spiritual successor.

The only gripes I have with the game are some bugs and one system and a bit of a wonky localization (just a translation would've been much nicer, but what's there now is ok).
The cooking mini-game has food categories (appetizer, main course and desert) but none of them seem to count towards what they are and the way they're rated just seems random.

Another bug that was pretty annoying was that certain cut scenes where dialogue happens automatically, the pacing was entirely messed up.
There was one singing sequence that should've taken probably like a minute or so but took around 15 minutes because it didn't progress.
There was one after a duel early on in the game and another one that was really bad was at the end of the game in the beginning of the end credits. It took at least 20 minutes in total for it to progress past that sequence before moving into the rest of the credits (which worked fine).
Last bug I want to point out is the dialogue UI jumping around Very excessively when a character is surprised or otherwise excited. It stops after a few seconds, but this should honestly not happen at all. It's awful.

Lastly, one design choice I really didn't like was the duel system. There are only a few of them in the game, I get what they're going for with it but it's just really not fun. I'd much rather just have a cut scene instead at current.

If the bugs get fixed I'd rate the game at a solid 8 out of 10.
Story could have a bit more to it for some extra oomph but it's fine, translation could be better and that duel system could either not be there or maybe get an attempt to improving it if/when the game gets a sequel.

Game is as its name advertises. A real cozy take on the Vampire Survivors, bullet-heaven, type game.
It's short but everything about it is good.

Two reasons why I can't recommend this.
- There's a blurred vignette that you can't turn off, it both looks bad and makes the game kind of uncomfortable to look at.
- Can't turn off screen shake.

Fun game outside of those issues, but these have been standard options for so many years now because it's known they can create problems for people. It's honestly dumb that these basic options are missing and I hope this will save some people headaches. Guess I'll find out how much of this game I'll get through myself.

Making old games available on and for modern systems is awesome, something I happily support.

What I will not support is putting, (potentially) malicious, Anti-Tamper DRM, from a highly questionable company, in games under any sort of pretense, in this case to prevent cheating. A very obviously bull crap excuse of a reason too.
If it were put only in competitive multiplayer games it would add up, but they're adding it to Single Player games. Even very old Single Player games.
I strongly advise not supporting this, do not buy any Capcom games until they remove this nonsense from games and don't implement it in any new ones either. I wish I could refund all Capcom games I have, will try with this one, and will most definitely not be getting any new ones regardless of how excited I was for them.
Refund denied, had barely played yet but owned over 2 weeks. Either automated or manual deny, sadly can't tell whether steam doesn't care about this ordeal or not.

Neat game, great art style, very nice OST. Overall worth but not without some problems.

Restaurant progression is fine but combat lacks some of that, depth and strength growth (can upgrade weapons but does not feel worthwhile at all).
A problem I have with weapons is that one and two handed weapons don't break objects with an equal amount of hits. While this makes sense logically it's really bad in terms of gameplay since it makes using one handed weapons really tedious, which in turn makes them never worth picking.
Money grind for story quests also becomes a little bit Too much later on.

If the growth in strength was increased (making up for lack of depth, increasing kill speed) and material breaking was made even across all weapons this would be an immense improvement already.

It is a shame this game released 1.0 in an unfinished state, but I am not convinced this is with malicious intent.

That aside, everything in the game that I've seen so far has been a lot and very good. I look forward for it to be feature and content complete, everything about it so far is promising.

Neat game, not sure I could recommend it at full price. I like the story, characters and art-style. OST is solid. The issue is some of the encounter designs, they're not necessarily hard. Just very annoying to the point that they're not fun.

A very competent take on the Creature Collecting genre.
My favorite change compared to pokemon is the combined shiny and IV system. There's a Potential range from 1 to 21 that affects how fast a monster gains Potential levels, a level separate from normal ones. The different appearance comes into play here too. Standard appearances is in the 1 to 16 range, Potent 17 to 20 and Perfect is at 21.
What makes this system even better is they added the option to change the appearance of a monster to any appearance you've obtained before, so you can use your favorite color scheme.
Besides that monsters have a pool of moves you can select 4 from at will outside of combat and you can teach them others from what are essentially TMs and are unlimited in use.
Also the monster designs are some of the nicest I've seen in the genre.
