Better graphics, combat system, and faction quest lines than Risen 2. The story continues after the first two games, although you play a different character this time. Overall, it was fun exploring the world and tinkering with different playstyles. However, the ending (either good or bad) felt very rushed and unfulfilling. Not the best way to wrap up the Risen series, but there you go.

Want crafting and base building? Get Terraria instead.

Want crafting and base building with space travel? Get Starbound instead.

Massive improvement in terms of graphics, gameplay, and customization compared to the first game.

Co-op is better than ever. Versus is still annoying as usual.

+ lots of enemies to shoot
+ large, diverse maps

Cons:
- cliffhanger ending
- you can only play multiplayer if you transfer your game to Origin
- EA and DICE apparently have no plans for a sequel

+ lots of customization options
+ many fun side quests
+ horse bonding
+ Dead Eye mode
+ "Yer a good boah"

Cons (story):
- very slow start
- horse does dumb things sometimes
- some quests are missable as you advance the story
- Abigail cheats in dominoes
- the existence of Micah Bell
- no cure for TB yet
- all endings are sad because of what happens in RDR1

Enjoy your first playthrough as much as you can. Worth it for the story mode alone.

+ story is connected with the first two Terminator movies
+ post-apocalyptic atmosphere done right
+ music is very, very good
+ multiple choices and endings
+ player progression is balanced by enemies also getting powerful
+ looting and crafting system is good
+ cool weapon variety
+ two memorable cutscenes ;)
+ fun Infiltrator Mode

Cons
- not really challenging even on hardest difficulty
- stealth is less rewarding XP-wise compared to blowing up things
- very minor graphical glitches

Highly recommended for fans of the Terminator franchise or if you just love a good sci-fi action FPS. The campaign has just the right amount of length. I would gladly support the devs if they plan another game!

It's bad enough that most of the DLCs should have been part of the base game (tents, tripods, ATVs). You are also unable to buy any of the bundles if you already own the base game. This means that you are forced to purchase new content separately.

The game itself is fun in a slow-paced, semi-realistic way. I love the feeling of landing a kill shot on an animal after tracking it for 5-10 minutes. Graphics are superb. Weapon selection is plentiful but most of them are locked behind DLC paywalls.

Not worth buying full price. Wait for a huge sale if you want all the DLCs, like 60-75% off.
