Fun game when playing multiplayer.


First of all I'm going to clarify - I've never played this game on PUBLIC servers.

I've always found this game fun to have when you've got a friend or ten to play with on there. Single player, in my humble opinion, is not worth the time as it gets very stale very quick, which can unnecessarily put you off the game.

Get a friend to play, though, and the whole experience changes.

Kill enemies and bosses, enslave - sorry, recruit - willing humans to fight alongside you or work within your base. And by willing I mean they survived being dragged along by their ankles for 15 minutes after being knocked unconscious and taken back to your home.

Steal - no, rescue - baby animals away from their parent's cold, dead hands/paws/claws and raise them as your own fearsome sidekicks (or base defence).

The best part of the game has got to be throwing yourself off of random cliffs throughout your journey and seeing how tight your butt clenches as you almost miss grabbing onto the rock-face on the way down. Or, alternatively, missing entirely and nailing yourself into the floor. Hard.

A love-hate relationship between Insurgency and myself, but I'll never stop playing.

Very, very good game!

Kept asking my friends for ages "Is it worth the money?" and they always said yes. I eventually bought the game and just keep playing it.

Game is very addictive and realistic, just what I want!
