Gameplay wise Super Cloudbuilt is more stable and polished, but the OG Cloudbuilt was more fun. There is just too much horizontal mobility with charged triple boost jump. Items are a great addition for accessible gameplay, though I haven't had to use them at all.

Content wise Super Cloudbuilt encompasses more types of levels.

If you are looking for an modern-day story telling game set in America, this one's perfect for you. This game has a decent level of your choices affecting the outcome of your gameplay, but not too much to drag the game for too long. I say only decent since there is really no incentive for you to be purposefully mean to any of the side-characters, most of them are easy choices to help someone. A bonus is that Life is Strange provides some good world-building on what US suburbia looks and feels like if you haven't been there before.

If you are like me, however, and looking for a cool sci-fi superpower-driven story, Life is Strange feels more like a more walking simulator version of Price of Persia:Sands of Time with a time-travel mechanic tacked on top. Play the first episode and figure out if the time-travel mechanic is enough to hold your interest.

For everyone else just looking for a good game, I would rate Life is Strange a 8/10 for a good story, decent choice effects, stunning hand-drawn visuals, amazing soundtracks, and alright superpower-mechanic.

For the first time since I started Cloudbuilt, I actually ran out of lives in a run. 300 lives, and I finally died literally 2 boosts away from the end.

Grinding? NO. Shiny loots burst out of the ground and chase you to the ends of the solar system.
Otherwise, it's alright.
