big agree that there needs to be a disable hint popup setting. giant white distracting rectangle in the corner of the screen GO AWAY!!! stop mocking me!!!!!!!!!

does the little red notification bubble drive you insane? no?
what about if it had a constantly pulsing animation? what if there was no way to turn it off?

it is bewildering to me that there is no way to disable the little red jumping notification bubble on the [Browse What You've Discovered] tab on the main menu UI.

beyond bewildering though, it SICKENS me that the only way to make it go away is to manually and individually click through EVERY category of discoverable item in the game— tags, boosters, bosses, tarot, planets, AND MORE— and then individually mouse over every new element within this category that you have not previously moused over. Sometimes the element you need to mouse over is on page 2, 3, or 4 of that category!! the notification bubble does not go away if you peek at a category and then leave! You Must Mouse Over Everything New . . .

only then will you know peace.

out of all the games i have played in my life, and i have been gaming since computer monitors extended healthily outward in three spatial dimensions, this is the 2nd ever game to make me cry. i cannot recommend it enough. artwork: phenomenal. writing: phenomenal. music: phenomenal. other aspects that are less outward and listable: we appreciate our behind-the-scenes workers in this household; phenomenal.

if you enjoy puzzle games definitely check this out!! the early and mid-game is really satisfying, and if you're a sicko you can get into the endgame stuff (i've seen so much talk of people making spreadsheets or writing programs to optimize their gameplan, omg).

getting into this game almost feels like doing science. lots of trying things out to see what happens, testing theories, etc. it's interconnected and explorable in a way not many other puzzle games are :- )

i managed to complete all the normal difficulty stages on my own, but now that i'm on to the more difficult ones my ass is completely being handed to me. this is a good thing!! if a puzzle game doesn't stump you completely every now and then, what's the point? the best feeling is returning after a week or two, giving it another go, and figuring it out. i'm looking forward to my moment of victory with level 39!!!
