Almost a masterpiece.
One of the best games of 2022 and the best sequel.

Beware though, if you like happy endings, "Requiem" in the title has to be the clear nod for you to the type of this story.

Pros

- stunning visuals with spectacular location design, vastly improved over the previous game
- level design is very nice, with alternate paths, extra opportunities and loot
- dark, heartbreaking but well-written story
- awesome voice-acting
- great soundtrack
- good amount of mechanics
- well written and well played companions and antagonists
- nice minor characters

Cons

- a bit overloaded with drama
- sometimes, the story ignores the character personality: due to plot needs Amicia's behavor switches from the fierce fighter to the damsel in distress and back again, Hugo suddenly acts as all-knowing guide for his sister for a few minutes in Chapter 16 etc.
- new progression system (extra skill upgrades) lacks balance: level sizes favor agressive play over stealth, third skill (alchemy/"opportunism") seems not to be leveled at all
