This game has more SOUL than any 3A slop they sell for 7€ out there. Grab another two idiots and have the time of your life playing this silly and well-loved game. Big cheers to the devs.

Born to simply recommend the game, forced to leave a review.

Great game, so terribly fun to play, absolutely bombastic to play with friends or alone.

However, I uninstalled and leaving this review because on launch they asked one to make a PSN account to play the game. But didn't force a player to do so and you could continue playing without doing so.

13/12/2024: That used to be that way but anymore. The game has one of the overall designs I've ever seen in the industry. They used to nerf the players way too much but they also seem to have learned from that and don't do so so much. They often push updates with barely tested changes, if at all. But the game is great.

For now, a good little game with great potential! The overall theme sells itself as a retro game good for something relaxing and overall not thinking about too much.

The music is loud for starters and the volume can't be changed, and that would be a welcome change. Also, the basic controls for the spaceship can't be checked or changed mid-gameplay, so I had to go back to the menu and sit back through the dialogue to change it from Normal to Direct (I think Direct's the best).

It would also be welcome to have a little introduction to what enemy does. I think some enemy could lock the player in place because it happened sometimes and I was rather confused about it.

The music as simple as it might be comes along to set a nice theme to the game, albeit swapping themes is a bit jarring, the vibe is spot-on. Give it a shot!

Absolutely fantastic game. Even though it's still in Early Access during when I was writing the review, the game's QoL is stunningly good. Scaling up to planet-wide, system-wide and inter-system-wide factories and networks works fantastically, isn't a hassle, a wonder, dare I say. Big problems can always be split into smaller, blueprint-able problems to be copied and pasted everywhere. Perhaps not my first recommendation for a factory game for starters, but a close second. And for factory games enjoyers, this title is a must-have.

So, on the actual review. The start is easy to understand, even though handling the resources efficiently can be a bit hard to belt around, using a simple bus system is often enough. Newcomers might make a few messes around and have to restart saves, but a quick question at Reddit or checking some videos online will give ideas to properly scale up and make life easier.

Ramping up to mid-game where you start travelling to other planets and the end can be seen far away, objectives and how to achieve them are always clear. Planning ahead to use your precious space within the same solar system is essential, yet not hard. Most your logistic problems can be solved using Planetary and Interstellar Logistic Systems, which send spaceships between planets or drones in the same planet to satisfy supply and demand. Easy to understand, easy to use, probably must use to save yourself headaches.

Late game is fantastic. You build your greatest factories yet to build the famous Dyson Sphere and start looking for problems in demand, fly over to a nearby star and get the resources within. When you're just waiting for your Sphere to be built, tourism is great. The planets look dazzling, there are many kinds, and seeing a neutron star or a black hole in person is probably the peaking form of tourism. Absolutely stunning.

But we're not here for the views, but to automate. Overall I can't stop recommending the game to people who has enjoyed a game like Factorio, as it pretty much includes bots to build your stuff for you and blueprints very early in the game, which simply makes it all the more enjoyable. The game runs well on my computer, with a pretty strong graphics card, but the allocation of resources looks vs performance can be tweaked in-game easily to prioritise one over the other, or not.

I can't review the combat part of the game as my save was done before the patch that included it, but I hear and see it's quite great and totally worth to enable in your new save, even if you tone it down a bit to find out how to play the game. It adds a charming part to the game, and explosions!

Silly little game had no business having such a beautiful ending.
Hard mode wasn't really hard, at least for me.
NPCs are unique, recognisable and memorable.
The mechanics are simple, fun, and the only new one that isn't introduced until past halfway into the game is slowly drip fed to the player in the form of minigames.
I only wish I could have danced at the club.
Great purchase, the game had good replayability, but not astounding. A damn lot of achievements if you want the squeeze those $10 dollars dry.

Fantastic game with friends, quite a good game with randos. The amount of whacking, slashing, hacking and cleaving is indeed enough to most violence-seeking people out there checking out this game.

Do get your hands on it!

Sunk 33 hours in just a week during finals month and I do not regret it.

It's that good!

Looks cringe but is so much fun with buddies.

At least try out the demo. This game breaks all four walls in a room then roof and floor. An absolute trip, go try it out, it's absolutely worth it. You don't even have to be good at carts.
