Just finished the campaign so here I am and what can I say.
iD nailed the campaign. From the frantic pace to the arsenal of weapons it's rare to ever have a dull moment as the hordes of demon's come at you and when things are a bit quieter those are the moments you take to see just how damn beautiful the game is and search the nooks and cranny's for all the secrets.
The boss fight's were just as hectic and each had their own little twist to them to make it a different challenge to the last and the end (no spoilers) was immensely satisfying personally even though it left me wanting more.

The multiplayer is where people have been split and for me I love it. The fast paced arena style takes me back to the days of playing games like UT2004 and despite what people say about the demon runes I just see it as a extra power weapon, which if teamed up against with your team can be taken down quickly and before they do much damage and allowing your team to turn the tables.
It does seem though without an antihack that hackers are preying on the game at the time of writing this review so if you are buying just for the multiplayer, despite that being an insane idea, I'd recommend waiting for iD/Bethesda to do something about it.

Snapmap's the one part I've yet to dive fully into and get a real taste for but despite it's limitations it definately has a lot of potential and the community is already releasing tons of interesting and challenging maps to play.

If you don't yet own Doom, you're missing out.
