Currently to define the experience of Battlefield 2042 is overall fun. I have always loved battlefield as a franchise but as we are aware the launch was beyond pathetic and the communication between the community and developers was non existent. But as of June 2022, I seen the 50% steam sale, grabbed a copy following my research which resulted in many stating the game is in an fun/acceptable state. The game has still got time to develop and become overall a balanced game in all aspects (map design, weapon balance, vehicle game play etc) but if you are missing that feeling of 'only in battlefield moments', then I strongly believe this game will provide that experience especially with the new map reworks and specifically Season 1 with the new map Exposure (my favourite), weapons and vehicles.
