it's worth it at the price

Better than Hollow Knight.

Removing beloved content, for what? Do not support.

Occasional fatal D3D error on trying to get past title screen, latest drivers on a GeForce RTX 2070 Super. Will update review once Capcom addresses the issue.

It's good.
Combat gives you all the information you can get so you can always be in control.
The world really doesn't try to stop you from going places if you figure out the platforming.

Gameplay's good, characters are likeable.

Only issue regarding gameplay so far has been that the second lord's boss fight is poorly designed. Having done all optional content by that point, I was still underleveled for it, and the fight has a DPS check that I'm certain is impossible for the point in game you get to it, unless you grind levels, at least on hard. No other boss has any issue like this, before or even far after this fight. Played through on Hard.

On the technical side, the PC version is amazingly well optimized, but there is a technical that's completely by design. During fixed camera animations such as all cutscene and *all* mystic artes and finishing strikes, the game locks itself to 60fps NO MATTER YOUR FRAME LIMIT SETTING. It is janky as hell, when the game runs at 120FPS and suddenly wants to jump to 60FPS in the middle of combat, only to return back to 120FPS seconds later. It is incredibly poor design, and this is an issue that I cannot imagine being caused if not deliberately. I hope they change it.
