Apex Legends is one of those games that you will have trouble getting into at first, however, once you finally start to accrue more hours into the game, you start to realize how much there is to love about it. The combat is challenging, it's unlike any other battle royale in the sense that everyone that you run into will have special abilities that could change the tide of a battle. Dedicating a few hours into each legend, learning their abilities and their different techs is crucial to doing well on the field. You begin to really understand how a specific legend would handle situations, adding a fair amount of counterplay which you could use towards your advantage. You also start to learn what doesn't work well with each legend, and you can use that knowledge to put your enemies in situations where they wouldn't be effective anymore. All learning curves aside, it's an amazing looking game, the lore for each legend is thought out and thoroughly interesting to read about, and the amount of variability in each game is astounding (this one applies mostly towards the BR genre in general). With only 260 hours in this game, I can say with confidence that it's one of the most fun games i've played to date.

Heres a few Pros and Cons:

Pros:
-Tons of stuff to learn
-Gameplay doesn't feel too repetitive
-Enough legends to suit anyone's play style
-Decent learning curve (some see this as a con, but I believe this is important for any game)
-Great story (especially for a BR)
-Visually appealing
-Maps are massive
-Fairly balanced (for the most part)
-Fluid movement
-Most importantly, fun and engaging

Cons:
-Hard to understand at first (learning everyone's abilities can feel overwhelming at times)
-The Meta can be very unforgiving at times (looking at you L-star)
-Sweats (fairly common like in most games, however, they really shine in this game due to the movement)
-Third-parties (common, but still agitating)
-Kind of addicting when you get the hang of things

Overall, i'd give this game a solid 8/10, it's definitely worth your time to check out. Please put more than 10 hours into it, I promise, it gets less confusing as time goes on.

P.S. Props to you if you're a Mirage main, it's tough out there.

Gonna be honest, I bought this game for the Jacket character pack for PAYDAY 2, but I did NOT expect to enjoy the absolute hell out of this game. Here I am, getting a little bored of PAYDAY and thought to myself, "Maybe I should give that Hotline Miami 2 a shot, I paid for it, so I might as well play it." After many painful hours of trial and error, I beat the game, and I was relieved that I finally reached the end to a rather strange, but intriguing story. Then, it happened. Hard mode was unlocked. I thought to myself, "Do I really want to put myself through all of this agony again, knowing this time it's going to be even more difficult?" The answer was clearly yes, and I proceeded to carry on into the hard campaign.

Oh boy, do I hate those fatties, absorbing 6 shots from any weapon and then some while they are choking on their blood. The perfect body shield for the insanely agile attack dogs and the guns-blazing mafia members. God, I love being angry at those fellas. It made passing the level feel even better, knowing that I overcame those mountains of men and defeated the onslaught of the mafia. I finally beat the hard story, and yet again I was relieved to see the credits scroll by... and then... I noticed something. An achievement pops up on the bottom of my screen and it just so happens to be the first achievement I notice I had unlocked. I then did a check-up on my achievement progress to see what other achievements I completed, and right there is where I made a fatal mistake. I saw one I did not already have. I couldn't live without that "Achievement Wh0r3" achievement.

I thought to myself once again, "Do I really want to do every level again on normal mode, and try to get the highest score, knowing that I need to plan out routes and pull off large combos, and that I needed to complete all of the other achievements?" The answer? Yes. I needed that achievement. However, it was easier said than done, some levels were pretty easy to pull off huge combos and rack up those points, but the other levels were completely insane (Most specifically the later ones). After many hours of non-stop grinding, I finally did it, I got an A+ in every level. I was happy that I had finally completed one of the harder achievements in the game, and then... I saw it... Genocide.

I took a look at my kill count, 21,540/50,000. I have been playing this game for 21.5 hours and I am not even half way to the kill goal. Right now, I am thinking to myself, "Do I really want to pump another 20 hours into this game, knowing that all i'm getting is a pretty useless achievement?" The answer... Why not? I have already pumped almost a days worth of time into it, and besides, who the hell can resist the absolutely amazing soundtrack? If you couldn't tell already, I love this game, its some of the most fun I have had in a while. I LOVE how challenging the levels are, and I honestly look forward to getting angry again in the near future.

Update: Achievement Wh0rE completed a while back, I still hop on this game while waiting for queues and the like.

Fighting is complex, yet not too hard to learn, the only obstacle in this game is your teammates, have fun!

Update 2/24/2021:

Teammates are more like deadly blockades than obstacles, please for the love of Seymour run Friendly if you plan to selfishly swing horizontally in team fights. The blood spilled will not be that of your enemy.

But alas, the heads of the recently decapitated teammates will keep on rolling, and as will I.

Still very enjoyable nonetheless, it was way worth the 30 schmeckles.

I dont even know where to begin with this game, lets just start with the basics. You and 3 other players (Bots, Friends, Randoms, etc.) get put against hordes of law enforcement trying their best to foil your plans as a greedy crook. I myself have barely scratched the surface of this game, there is so many complex loadouts that you can run with that the game never really feels boring after hundreds of hours of playtime. The game is ridden with updates and so many other goodies provided by the hard work of OVERKILL that kept the PAYDAY 2 veterans feeling like there is something new to do, also, it adds to the abundance of content that is available to newcomers to discover. Although the game had an ending after all these years, it still feels like the game has new ways to suprise the player with idiotic AI, the literal metric s#!t ton of masks, and perk combos that can be adjusted to your style of play.

Pros:
- Content has variety
- The player can adjust his/her playstyle via different perk combos
- Its a straight blast mowing through millions of FBI
- A fun, casual game that only needs to be taken seriously to those achievement hunters out there
- Always finds a way to keep your attention with the upbeat yet beautiful soundtracks
- OVERKILL's Golden Goose
- "Let's do this...."

- Its "over"

I have a crappy laptop that I cant even play this game but good game even when its laggy!!

TF2 is a great game with perfect balancing, classes, and gameplay. It is fun and has a variety of gameplay so you never bored playing the same game. I personally have 500+ hours into it and I still get excited everyday to play this game. Now there will be times where you will think you suck while the other team is destroying you, dont give up. There is a chance that you will get Random Crits, a medic, or even a teamwork team in the next game. The community maps are phenominal and every single one I have played on was full of activity, there will be people who mic spam but you can use that mute button for good use. Now, you do not need to buy anything, I cannot stress that enough because you get all of the weapons for free by just playing the game. Most of the items are cosmetics or guns that make your eyes go crazy but all you really need is the weapons. People think that if they dont buy anything they dont feel like they are a part of the community, which in fact they are. Free 2 Play is a thing I have wanted to do from day one just to show F2P's aren't always noobs who dont know how to play the game. I of course bought things because I thought it would be so cool for my scout to have a hoodie, but then I got bored and bought more cosmetics. All I have to say is, have fun, play fair, and dont feel like you are left out not buying things. Be the first person who plays this game for 1000+ hours with only the weapons you find and we will all praise you.
