My two favorite VR game genres mashed together. Rhythm and FPS. If you like either genre, this is a must have in your game library.

I really, REALLY wanted to like this game. Great community of players, awesome premise for a game, and SO much to do. But with that said, this game is subpar in just about every facet... and embarrassingly bad in quite a few in particular.

Grapeshot will wipe the servers on a whim, and then you have to start with a new character and you lose all progress.

Developers actively force the player base to play the game how the developers envision it, not how the players want to play

Developers favor the PVP servers and gameplay and most of their updates involve additions to the game that only serve a purpose in PVP servers.

Easily the worst PoS I've ever seen built on UE4. I assumed for the longest time that they were on some off-brand engine or used their own. Nope. Unreal Engine.

No collision physics

AI is insanely bad, can't navigate obstacles, and is generally worse than even most mobile games

Tames will randomly fall off your boat when sailing between grids

For every new feature they introduce, they break about 3 other major features

The developers focus vast majority of their efforts into releasing half-baked updates and rush them out the door, only to drag their feet when the update breaks major aspects of the game.

This game runs like a potato on even top-end hardware. Seriously, this game runs so poorly and is so large for what's really not many assets, I was genuinely concerned that the game might be spyware and all their development went into whatever nefarious back-end stuff the game was a cover for. Nope. Turns out it's just such a great concept for a game that the concept alone has carried this game this far along, despite it being a total steaming turd.

TL;DR- Don't spend a dime on this game. Don't play it if you value any time you invest into building in the game. I've dumped countless pointless hours into this game thinking "surely this will be the last wipe for awhile, and surely they won't break a bunch of sh!t." I was wrong every time. Do not get this game. If you need a pirate game in your life, just get Sea of Thieves. It's not great either, but it's better than this dumpster fire filled with flaming turds.

Don't buy unless extremely cheap, like, $10 including DLC. The base game has about 30ish hours of fresh gameplay, but the real killer is the fact that this game only works when Ubisoft servers are up.

This game should honestly be F2P. They could easily make more money by letting everyone have at it and then selling skins, items, and lootboxes or something.... or "surprise mechanics."

In the time that this game has been in alpha, I could have went to school to learn game design, coding, software engineering, founded my own company, create a version of DayZ that actually works, scrap it due to running out of money, sell it to a major studio who then ruins it after a year of "tweaking" it, then hire me to come on and fix the whole thing, release the game, take a year off to travel the world and enjoy my family, then come back, make and release a sequel... all before this game gets finished.

A room full of monkeys slapping keyboards could randomly code this game out of alpha faster than Bohemia Interactive.
