So this is an edit of my previous review about some problems with the Wallpaper Engine on a fresh Windows 10 install after the program got out of Early Access.

It appears that Windows 10 hates Wallpaper Engine for some reason, the causes were not related to the program itself.

Some tips for new users:
- Use Wallpaper Engine as a Windows service (Settings > General > Start With Windows > Set high priority)
- After a Windows Update or fresh install, double check your system settings so they don't break Wallpaper Engine.
- Keep Xbox DVR Disabled (see this Steam article: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6239-DZCB-8600)
- Keep Game Mode Disabled (see this OBS Wiki article: https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/wiki/How-to-disable-Windows-10-Game-Mode)
- And please, set your Application rules to avoid problems with certain apps (Settings > Performance > Application rules)

This is the type of game that is customizable AF and you don't want to stop playing.
