One of the best metroidvanias. Good with controller, but the real Gs use keyboard. The game is so good I came back for the boss rush challenges after 112%ing the whole thing.
Excellent music and art, perfect depression game with vibes, fascinating story. And the gameplay is sharp.

A game hasn't given me such deep seated depression mixed with curiosity since Hollow Knight. Additionally I haven't had such knee jerk horrified reactions to monsters in most horror games.
And it's a skill issue. Survival of the fittest.

Excellent art direction, unique gameplay, honestly less punishing than advertised on normal mode.
The aesthetic, themes and environment are dark grimy and offputting and honestly the only time I would expect a ragequit isn't after dying, but after realizing what you've done after a story decision.

Excellent game. Played it originally back in the day on iPad and the port is excellent. The controls can be odd, considering a finger swipe is replaced with WASD, but the mechanics control very well and are mapped neatly so you essentially only need a left hand.
The story, characters and mystery are amazing and it's clear a lot of work and though has been put in. There are many big reveals through the story, but none feel forced or out of nowhere. Replay value mostly hinges on you finding bits of dialogue that you may have missed and/or foreshadow the reveals at the end.
The game also includes bonus content like unlockables in the form of art, parts of the OST and achievements. My biggest gripe is that to 100% the game you need to play the (optional) swiping puzzles in the extra menu. Doesn't affect the core gameplay, which is top notch.

This game is the greatest stress relief tool I have found. There is so much adrenaline and male hormones here that I have begun growing a new chromosome. I recommend a higher difficulty setting to both make the game more satisfying and proving that you are not a journalist.

Cynical and challenging, this game isn't for everyone. It can be very punishing and the amount of reading included in gameplay could be annoying to fps players.
Apart from that the mood and setting are incredible and the game is a clear improvement from Sunless Seas.

It's good. It's the witcher. What more do I say? There's a card game built in and you can waste in game currency to buy cards. There are so many sidequests the playtime is looong. And the witcher contracts are immersive as ♥♥♥♥. It's good.

This game is awesome. For an Unity RPG it implements amazing ideas without any flashy programming. The artstyle is gorgeous. It does need some polishing in a few places (dialogue and values mostly), especially after the tutorial. I suggest waiting for a sale.

It's fun. Turn-baised, but still quite brutal. I guess the game will get more enjoyable as annoying aspects get ironed out in post-beta.

The game is awesome. It gives its own twist on a genre that is pretty oversaturated. Not only that, but the gim feeling and narration are a treasure on their won. I can understand why this would be unappealing to some people, but it works as a great test of resolve - can you pick yourself up and continue?
