i really wanted this game ever since it was announced but when i purchased it i found out multiplayer was another "i dont know where i got shot from but i died" twitch shooter and i was very disappointed, the co-op is only somewhat playable because for some reason my system gets very intense lag and frame drops in co-op but works perfectly fine in multiplayer. perhaps i'm just bad at the game, with the amount of hours i dumped into the original standalone insurgency both in multiplayer and co-op, i didn't expect the only viable gamemode to be co-op

if you plan on only playing co-op then you might as well stick to the original since it runs better and the core gameplay remains the same

out of all my recent purchases, i've been playing this one the most, there's something about raiding trade caravans and playing the economy then getting your ass handed to you for it that's just real rewarding

also the game is of rather high quality in terms of mechanics, i've yet to run into a bug and i don't anticipate running into any
the freedom of character creation is a lot more vast than you'd expect it to be with you being able to create any sort of extreme or any sort of "normal" you wish, though it is far more worth it make an extreme kind of character
every character has a lot to say even if they're generic background npcs
i'm currently 29 hours in on my first playthrough and i plan on replaying this at least another two times

I played LISA the Painful and almost cried at multiple points.

I played LISA the Joyful and DID cry at multiple points.

This game and the story it tells is very powerful.

The literal definition of trial and error, fun once you get momentum but don't mistake the frustration upon repeat deaths for actual difficulty.

i got a towering pile of hats drop and traded it away for free
then immediately got banned from that server for permitting scamming

if its called arma 2 then why am i playing dayz

if you join a pub with less than a million hours then you'll get kicked for being too casual
just like a real zombie apocalypse
