While it’s sporting a new look and name, EA Sports FC 24 is a familiar and altogether solid entry in the juggernaut that is EA’s annual soccer video game series. Picking up the controller for a quick session with mates feels as comfortable and natural as it ever has, with plenty of mechanical depth for hardcore football fanatics to obsess over.
EA Sports FC 24 is a true celebration of the world’s game, with plenty of content for longtime fans and newcomers alike.

More importantly, it’s a great game per se, where worries over the lack of co-op melt away in the mines amid intense, satisfying, tightly crafted bullet waltzes. I don’t know if I’ll pump the same hundreds of hours into this that I have for its parent game, but I’ll be absolutely happy to spend more alone time down in the depths, stealing shiny rocks from the natives.

Far Cry 6 is an outstanding game because it has a great design of mechanics and missions, its setting is authentic even with localization flaws, and the game does not drag on too long or become repetitive; on the contrary, just walking around the island and exploring the public and hidden routes is a satisfying activity.

If you liked the first one, you will love Subnautica: Below Zero. It improves everything previously played and adds necessary novelties to this sequel. Everyone who loves underwater world and survival genre will be delighted with this video game.

Assassins Creed Valhalla is a wonderful addition to the AC franchise. It manages to avoid the tropes that became overplayed and focuses on a small well structured story. The fighting mechanics are enjoyable and offer many choices to fit different playing styles. There are a significant amount of bugs and the AI is underwhelming at times. But it's still another step in the right direction for Ubisoft.

The gameplay is the best of the genre, just like Sekiro for its own. Insane amount of customization with weapon mods, suit upgrades, abilities, etc. A step up from Doom 2016 which was another 10/10 game. The only single thing that Doom 2016 beats Eternal is with the art style atmosphere. Regardless, both are masterpieces.

Farming Simulator 22 is an immersive agricultural experience. For players who’re willing to spend hours trying to make the most of their farm, it offers a lot. You can choose to focus on your crops, animal husbandry, or forestry. Fans of the series will be grateful for the official implementation of seasons, and the production chains mean there’re even more ways to make money and grow your empire. It doesn’t cater for new players in the same way, but there’s still a hook for amateurs to get going. With some lovely visuals and a faithful simulation of real-life farming, you’re not going to find a better game out there.

I would highly recommend Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 to just about anyone, even if you weren’t a huge fan of the first game. This feels like a much better attempt all around, and certainly scratches the same itch that games like Diablo and Destiny did for me. It also has plenty of initial content to explore, making it feel like a worthwhile purchase while the developer irons out the finer points. So absolutely give The Division 2 a chance, you won’t be disappointed.

Forza Horizon 5 is the best Forza yet and, not only that, but it also makes a strong case for being the best racing game period. A joyous combo of arcade racing and simulation-level depth, all wrapped up in a beautiful bow thanks to its diverse, expansive Mexico setting, this is an unmissable iteration in what is arguably gaming’s most consistently fantastic series.

FIFA 23 is a farewell letter to millions of football fans around the world.
With amazing visuals and an improved gameplay, FIFA 23 delivers a well rounded experience.
It ain’t perfect, and maybe not the most entertaining, but it’s as close as real life soccer that FIFA has ever been in 30 years of history.
