Most of the fun in the game comes from the well crafted and detailed environment that sells you on the world and offers a peek into the life of the characters. Puzzles are very straightforward but well integrated into the exploration experience and at least you shouldn't get stuck and they won't get in the way of the story. And the story is simple but well executed, each new area pushes the narrative further and reveals some new information, maybe just a bit too much, foreshadowing incomeing ending twist. The game leans into the scary atmosphere, but apart from few jump scares there is no true horror here.

I got the game on 70% sale, which is pretty important to my overall recommendation as the game is very short but if you are into the exploration games like Gone Home or realistic sci-fi setting like Tacoma it might be worth it at full price too.

The fast paced action that never gets boring.

It shares a lot of qualities with Hotline Maiami - mainly a frantic fight for survival, with instantaneous death and quick on trigger enemies. You will find yourself restarting each stage multiple times until muscle memory will let you execute flawless series of planned moves.

The story is just good enough to get you to the end and not better, but it's the fighting mechanics where all the fun is.

This one is pretty good as far as the "chose your own adventure" aspect goes, you truly get to define your character, pursue multiple solutions to the obstacles, befriend your crew and other characters and play though the way you want, even when it makes little sense to do so (yes, I should totally throw my life as capitan away and join Solib after just hearing about them the second time!).

Despite that I cannot recommend it as it fails as an engaging story. There is hardly any character development in the cast, the adventure seems more like a series of quick time events then a cohesive story filled with action, mystery and drama. There is A LOT of going on but the narration moves so quickly that none of the events that should be impactful have any time to land.

Good story should keep you speculating, agonizing over your choices and exited, instead here you drift through the space waiting for something to go wrong, you pick the solution that fits best with you skill set and get rewarded with few sentences of personal or world development.

When they tried to raise the stakes at the end it fell absolutely flat as I found myself not caring much about any of the factions, crew members or my "mysterious cargo".

That was great little adventure everyone should go on.
