Started with the PS2 edition, kept going with the PC edition.
Now port all PS2 & PS3 Ratchet & Clank titles.

Graphics is kinda ok, same goes to gameplay. But the multiplayer function is very big crap. Joining via IP/connect_name adress mostly doesn't work at all and it's not possible to play with friends aswell. Even with good internet speed it cannot really handle my movements very well.

Play this game only if you want to singleplayer, otherwise don't buy it.

A game for everybody. Even today! This game gives me the old vibes back as this is still one of the best RPG games that were ever made during the 2000s. The gameplay is good, the graphics is such a good feeling of the atmosphere and the soundtrack makes the game never boring. The looting and secrets you can get and find everywhere in the open world makes this game even more enjoyable, especially in the Underworld title. Ascaron really made a good job of making such a wonderful fantasy title. Even after 162 hours (of review time), it still makes fun and there are innumerable things to do. Just sad that we have to deal with the compatibility issues in the newer Windows versions, otherwise this game's still great after 15 years.

Definitely a recommendation from me!

Great shooter with a few little aspects.
Comic shooters like Borderlands have been doing great in the past years. Especially with their new added DLCs that you can also get in the GOTY edition (at least most of them). However the gameplay is quite good and amazing, sometimes even too extreme. But the game engine unfortunately struggles a lot with its own configuration for your system though. The graphics also have been improving since the first title of this series came out. It looks great, sharp and gives it a pretty great comic look. However you may get lots of framedrops while more and more effects have to render at the same time. However in my case it's also fun and playable at 30 fps with vsync enabled (as we call it the "console" feeling) which will avoid the framedropping during the gameplay. But the effects and explosions are also quite amazing to see.
The economy is not really for everybody. In my case it gets harder and harder to level up more which gets pretty annoying for some time. Mostly it's not even worth the afford to kill enemies as you'll just get 1 xp per enemy unfortunately.
Otherwise this game is great with its DLCs, even in 2021. I've been spending lots of time to play this game with some friends and have to admit that it's quite amazing to play this game with multiple players.

Recommended!

This game is such a banger (As I didn't say that on some other reviews before). You can do so many things there. This is what I've experienced from a simulation/game like this!

A lot of friends told me this simulation is pretty boring because you're basically just driving tho. But that's wrong.

You're able to drive with trucks, deliver things (food, animals, wood and much much more...), earn money with deliveries, buy your own truck and trailer, customise it however You want, level up and unlock some skills as truck driver, drive everywhere you want (Germany, Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Poland, Italy, Czech Republic, Austria, Russia, Lithuania, Danmark, Sweden, Norway...), download and enable mods everywhere (Steam-workshop, Modhoster...). Unfortunately this game doesn't have a story.

You're able to drive with the keyboard, mouse and even with a steering wheel (If you own a Logitech G27, G29 or any other model) then it's worth it! Driving with a steering wheel is one of the best way to get the best and realistic game experience that you'll ever have. If you don't own a steering wheel then you can select the mouse to control the steering wheel ingame with it). You can customise the key assignment for the functions of the truck/trailer.

This game has gameplay settings which allows you to change the game experience. You're allowed to change the chance of rain, strengh of the brake(s), stability of truck and trailer, Enable or disable the speed limiter, change the currency/language and a bit more of the controls from the truck itself...

Since the 1.35 update this game allows you to enable the voice of the nagivation system. You can choose to more than 8 languages (with male and female voices). Then the navigation system will tell you where you have to drive which is very very cool.

As I already said you can add some mods into this game, you can add cars, buses, modern trucks, skins, engines with more HPs, mods with better textures/graphics and much much more. Or you can gonna create/modify mods with the Blender software and with the SCS tools that you can download on their page.

This game contains DLCs of different skins for the trucks, countries or accessoires for the truck which you can buy here. They are kinda expensive a little, but also worth it. No matter if those are paintjob or country expensions, give them a try!

Do you own a Razer keyboard or a mouse? If so, that's great! Because Euro Truck Simulator 2 supports now certain features with Razer components for a wonderful driving experience (If you're running out of fuel then your keyboard will start blinking or it will starting to blinking blue/red if you gonna rammed a car or a truck).

Also the graphics of this game is very beautiful. The towns and streets are looking almost realistic (even though some towns in Germany are looking similar to each other´). The layout of the menu itself is pretty well designed and even still better than the first version of Euro Truck Simulator.

FMOD also came to this game which doesn't really work great as some sounds just disappear or won't even play while some singleplayer (or multiplayer) sessions. But otherwise it's doing its job so... great job SCS Software.

This game got an own multiplayer aswell. This allows you to drive with your friends together. Even with mods if you own them. You might love this! There's also the seperate multiplayer "TruckersMP" which is a little more ever.
Sure this game got a little few bugs about the physics itself, but SCS is actually still working on it to fix this.

In summary, this simulation/game is just amazing. It's recommend for everyone who wants to drive a truck in real and deliver some things. But the price is (in my mind) a little bit too expensive (19.99€). Either you gonna wait for the Steam-sales that are coming or you gonna buy it somewhere a bit more cheaper...

...thank you for taking your time to read this review.

Update 1: Game even convinced me to get the G29 with the shifter which just makes the gameplay experience 1000 times better and more realistic!

Update 2: Due to 1500+ hours spent from this game, the price is definitely worth it.

Update 3: There are even more trucks coming and the community is growing any better!
