I've been waiting for Tactical Breach Wizards ever since I first saw an early trailer quite a few years ago. After checking on it every now and then, it's finally here!

Great things about this game:

• Combat is tactical with almost full knowledge of what will happen on enemy turn.
  
• All characters are unique both in mechanics and in fluff.
  
• Character perk selections on level-up are not permanent, you get a decent supply of perk reset points.
  
• Combat is pseudo-turnbased with a Rewind-button to freely use within your turn, so feel free to experiment and don't worry about any misclicks.
  
• Humor is dry, and amazing in that (your mileage may vary due to subjectivity of this point, personally I had a blast).
  
• Levels have varied win conditions.
  
• Very few bugs, personally I only encountered one minor one.

All in all, this game is great. Easy recommendation!

This was recommended to me as "XCOM with mechas". And boy it did not deliver.

Combat is amazingly boring. You walk and shoot, that's it. And in the tutorial at least, all the mechas and their weapons feel exactly the same. On top of that, the whole damage system is not explained at all in the tutorial. There are some kind of different bars and you have no idea what anything means.

Maybe this all gets better. But if the first hour or so is anything to go by (and it should), I would not bank on it.

One of the games that actually made me stop and think back. Nice action and habit of twisting your mind. Good stuff.

What I mostly like about this game are the choices. While they may not always have real consequences (mostly affecting the chaos rating of the city), they give the player the feeling of freedom.

I'm almost done with my second playthrough. The first one was magic-using sneaker, where I only killed people if they caught me by surprise. While it was quite nice, finding alternative routes and hiding all the sleeping bodies, the second playthrough has been so much better.

For a game that rewards you for being a good guy (sneaking, not killing), being a badass warrior is too damn fun. While I don't use any magic on this run, the feeling of battling half a dozen guards at once is amazing. Blink behind, stab, shoot another one to the face, lob a sticky grenade on one, blink away from explosion, lock your sword with the last one and remove his head. It is frankly quite intoxicating.

Also, seeing all the differences between different runs make you appreciate the game much more, even if the differences are small.

The fact that you can be shot or stabbed in the back while swordfighting another guard, is really good compared to Batman / Assassin's Creed type of combo-counter brawl. You have to think ahead or be ready to use your weapons, you can't just jump in the middle of a group of hostiles.

10/10 would play again (almost did already)

While the game idea itself is kinda nice (Limbo meets zombie survival), both the story and the controls leave you hoping for more. The story is exceptionally weak to the point of making me want to punch my wall bloody. Also for a game that relies quite a lot on exact movement, the controls are uncharasteristically poor. Your character rarely moves as you would like and in a game like this, it causes lots of problems. The handheld game collectables were a nice touch, though.

At least the game was short.

It's all you expected, and more! It's borderline lunatic and awesome at the same time, got to love it!

One of the wildest games you will ever play. It's pure lunacy!

Simply the best game ever made. The weapons are balanced better than in any other game and all of the classes are important to the team.
