Does a very good job avoiding "big number fatigue" that many ARPG's and survivor likes struggle with. Multiple ways to build and plan out a single class with runes and their starting skills. The survivability meta is offense based as opposed to defense cringe.

One of the greatest indie fps's ever made, F.E.A.R with faster action. A ton of games with purely hitscan enemies fall into the trap of making their enemies artificially hard by making them all lock on to like robots, however in Trepang their aim naturally follows you much closer to what a human would do, so dodging, sliding and playing it like an action movie even in real time, actually works and is incredibly fun. However, I have few very minor things i'd like to gripe about.

The sword really should have it's own slot, it's mainly a weapon you just use for fun, anything you can do with the sword outside of hitting multiple enemies at a time can be done with a well placed dropkick and if you drop it for another weapon it'll be a long time before you find another sword or spend $6000 for another one in survival.

Assault rifle screen shake is simply too much. Reduce the recoil for the first 3 or so shots while keeping it the same for long bursts so it isn't totally outclassed by the SMG and the new machine gun

Mini gun should receive a slight damage or ammo buff, as it is now you wait around .4 seconds for windup and the bullets have a ton of knockback that throws around enemies making it hard to use without wasting ammo. It's a good weapon but not nearly as good as it's rarity and price point alludes to.

While there aren't that many missions there isn't a single point while replaying it that I think "oh not this section" I've replayed it close to 8 times now and I'll do it again. There's exactly one section on crash site that is a little unfair if you haven't prepared. but otherwise everything else is close to perfect.

Weird middle ground between payday 1 and 2. Like in 1 build variety mainly comes from the weapons you use, there are perks and choices to be made but they're pretty minor stat buffs. Characters and voice acting are wonderfully campy. Stealth is pretty fun and the feedback for combat is also solid, Excellent solo and bot support too. Must have at $10 or less, easy reccomend if you like heisting games at $25 or less, a little dubious for $35 and on if you want to buy all dlc's once the all dlc offer ends
