There is some fun card play and really good art.

However, the game is actually a time management dating sim. The potion making and selling are secondary. There is a lot of mechanics (eg. a whole card game) to improve your income but it amounts to maybe 4x an improvement. It feels very tedious and unrewarding to engage with these mechanics. At the end of the day your goal is just to make some specific potions by the end of the week which is not very hard.

IMO, it would be better if it was a more relaxing sandbox game. Alternatively, get rid of contests and your goal was to just make a lot of money to pay off debts so at least the efficiency optimization feels satisfying.

Last Epoch is very good but it's still a bit rough around the edges.
