Rats in my fridge.

Mice in my garage.

A corn snake in my tree.

The list goes on and on and I was beginning to feel like I was living an episode of the show "The Middle," after Fran, Sue, and Bart's dad had a mouse hunt at their house.

(Bart is the brother of the friend I used to room with at school who has a daughter.

We don't have anything in common but I love his daughter.

She has the most amazingly gigantic eyes.

I miss her like crazy.)

It was spring and warm and there was lots of birds and butterflies and for the first time in a long time, I was happy.
