Most people would tell you just to buy New Vegas instead of this game, but you probably already know to do that. So instead I'm going to give you a list of mods that make this game good


The latter two are self explanatory. SMU changes the story to make everything more open ended and fitting for your character. No longer do you have to be the concerned parent! You also get to choose what level you start at, where to begin your journey, the amount of starting gear you get, and you can choose one special perk. Overall enhances the RPG elements and makes the beginning of the game much more interesting.


Gives you more items to build settlements with


Lets you place settlement objects however you want


Gives you more mods to add to the vanilla weapons.


Makes dogmeat extrathicc. This is overall the most important one


Lets you dismember limbs off of any living NPC.


Self explanatory


Texture Overhaul. Makes the game run worse but its worth it.


Improves the sound design by a mile.

Face Light
NPCs Travel
Locksmith
Enhanced Lights and FX
Looks Menu


It may take a lot of work to make this game good. But with the right mods you'll find a lot to love. If you've got a beefy hard drive and some free time to browse the Nexus, I would recommend this game. But if you're someone who plays without mods, who wants a good Fallout experience from the get go, you need to mosey on over to the New Vegas store page and pick that up instead.
