Stay away at all costs if you're expecting an Amnesia game.

There are only a few monster encounters throughout the game, and most of them are scripted. The AI is completely braindead and not threatning at all. The gameplay is as linear as it gets. No exploration, no puzzles, only walking. This isn't worthy of the title Amnesia. This is worthy of the title "Walking Simulator 2013". That's all you do.

Core elements have been removed from the game. No sanity, no inventory system, unlimited lantern, no tinderboxes and most importantly, the impressive physics have been completely removed. You can no longer pick up any objects other than those which are essential to continue the linear adventure.

On the upside, the plot is fairly interesting. If you enjoyed Dear Esther then by all means, pick this up. If you enjoyed Amnesia and you are looking forward to more Amnesia, steer away at all costs. This isn't worth it even at 50% off.
