EDIT: The game crashes regularily on my pc and on my friend's PC as well. Also, sometimes the game launches in windowed mode, sometimes without sound etc. (the same bugs on two completely different machines); we both have high end PC's. Really sloppy. obvious bugs should have been found and fixed already. At the most fundamental level we need stability over flashy players and skins etc. Also, the matchmaking can be extremely unbalanced. I know that it's a problem for suitable matchmaking to have a low player count, but here I get the feeling that the algorithm TRIES to make it unbalanced.

EDIT2: the game is missing key features like kicking afk players, offline gameplay (map exploring), recording demos etc. also sometimes the game is lags even on high end machines

I think I'll change the recommendation to 'no' soon. I don't think the devs are prioritizing key game improvements

EDIT3: changed all the settings to low and i played on a server where i had the lowest ping (25 avg) - i still experienced lag (on a latest gen i7, 1080 gtx, 32GB RAM). changed recommendation from 'yes' to 'no'

EDIT4: ran into an issue after windows update where the game wouldn't launch, but its playable again after installing the c++ 2015 redistros in the qc install folder (after uninstalling the 2017 restristros). most technical bugs are also fixed after the 3/15 gc patch. im chaning the recommendation to positive again even though theres still gameplay issues.

EDIT5: At the end of 2019, my biggest gripes with the game are the very slow weapon switching speeds, the imbalanced teams (you can just queue with a high skill player and destroy the other team because you'll always end of on the same team), the lack of ways to spend shards (there's only a couple of 500 shard items), and the laggy servers when the game allows >150ms pingers to join servers.
