I love this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. I've spent many frustrating hours learning to not suck at combat, but the payoff is like Darksouls, or similiar. There's little to no narrative, but the gameplay alone is worth a few dollars.

The devolopment may be slow, but the future projects this will spawn will be amazing (I hope).

I'm updating to say that while the progress on Exanima can be grinding, it has niche but rewarding and amazing combat with a lot of skill involved. If you're impatient, just wait for their final game. If you want a good price on what has great potential, pick it up now, have some fun, and forget about it for 6 months while the developers work on their dream project where the passion to make a technically good game shines through

I'm never going to get over the satisfaction of a perfectly landed blow that knocks the enemy on their backs, followed by a finishing overhead aimed at their face.
