While not especially unique, the gameplay and pace of Borderlands combined with a great multipayer experience makes it well worth a now very low price. Merging action RPG and FPS, the gameplay can be challenging and rewarding as both your accuracy and reflexes are tempered by your loot. 7/10 solo 8/10 with a friend!

BioShock Infinite is an artistic masterpiece. Beautiful, suspenseful, and haunting at times; it captures a blending of history and myth to create something both wonderfully unique and familiar.

Story: 10/10
As we all come to expect from Irrational, the plot of this game is bursting with rich parallels, powerful emotional imagery and an ending (brilliantly foreshadowed throughout) that will leave you both satisfied and begging for more.

Ambiance: 11/10
This is where the game really shines. Each set-piece alone could be a work of art, each architectural blend, each cultural costume. All of the visual splendor mixed together with a score that perfectly juxtaposes the glamor and grit of what Columbia represents.

Gamplay: 10/10
I expected a rich story and beautiful visuals/music, what I did not expect was game-play (particularly combat) that surpassed Irrationals previous games in terms of enjoyment and dynamic action. This game takes everything that we loved from previous BioShock games and adds a whole new level of tactical planning and on the fly improvisation. Each combat area is a stage set for a brilliant play, each enemy adding new challenge, each weapon a chance to master. Never has combat been so challenging and satisfying in a BioShock game.

Overall: 10/10 Irrational proves once again that you don't have to break the mold, nor pander to the lowest common denominator to create a brilliant experience.

A fantastic take on Batman, Arkham Asylum is the first game in a great series. Mixing elements of stealth and quick paced button mashing combat, the gameplay is what really shines at first in this game. A nice assortment of gadgets and combos keep combat and stealth fresh as you progress through the story. Each villian is well fleshed out and brilliantly voiced. This is the ultimate Batman experience.

I got this game as part of a Humble Bundle so for the price of something like $0.10 it was a steal. Haunting and beautiful despite a complete lack of color, LIMBO is a enjoyable puzzle platformer with a dark atmosphere and grizzly consequences for failure. It only took me about 2 hours to beat it, but it was a very enjoyable 2 hours. If you can get it for $5.00 or less, I would say absolutely go for it.

The game has a somewhat interesting story, but I couldn't get into it very much due to the absolute nightmare that is the combat. The game is just not fun or interesting to play, the tactics are boring, the abilities are derivative and the skill trees add no changes to playstyle. It's just more of the same multiplied by a new number every time you level up.

This is an RPG experience that will truly immerse you.

I've beaten this game countless times, and it continues to provide a deep story entwined in enjoyable gameplay elements.

If you like Star Wars at all, this is a great game. If you like RPGs at all, this game is amazing. If you love both, it really doesn't get any better than this.

First off, this game is hard. Not like, "oh I almost died so many times", more like "I've been killed 50 times and I've only been playing for 2 hours!" The learning curve is tremendous, the boss fights are super intimidating, but the rewards of getting better are immensly satisfying. When I first picked this up, I was dying left and right to standard enemies, but now I can start a new character and progress through most of the game without a single death.

That's just the gameplay though.

What makes this game really great is the atmosphere. The story is cryptic and the enviroments are as diverse as the enemies. Every area is memorable.

This is a great buy.

A great story telling experience in a fun isometric combat enviroment. Also a totally boss soundtrack.
