Fun as Hell.

Jump out of an airplane, pop a 'chute, snipe a General, lay some C4, cruise into the distance on a stolen jeep with fire behind you and an open road ahead.

Sounds like a climax, right? Sounds like a scripted event that kills you twice due to bad level design.

Nope.

Happens organically. Do it your way. Do what you want.

Freedom, in a portrait. Lots of fun, not too serious. This game is worth a solid sixty dollars, and it don't cost half of that.

Plus parachute+grappling hook=best movement system ever conceived in a sandbox game.

This game is Brutal. To the Nth degree. At first it feels like your standard character-based isometric RPG- there's even a lot of emotion despite the lowrent unanimated graphics, brings me back to 1998.

Then it slugs you right in the chest.

My first run, things were going well. I'd found a crowbar and killed several dozen dogs. This was sustaining me nicely.

As if to tell me to get off my ass and find a quest, the game spawned in a WRAITH. A literal demon from Hell. I ran. It killed me in one hit.

The next two runs I died from hypothermia, but then I got the mechanics down.

Okay, so let's go out, explore. Once I had the basics of the game down, I went cross country. Killed men by the dozens. Literally slaughtered about forty people. I had a military rifle, two scopes, a meat cleaver, water for days, plenty of armor, no danger of hypothermia- I was the man. Unfortunately, survival had turned me into a remorseless cannibal. Felt bad. So, when I saw a stranger on the road, I decided to leave her alone. Then she approached me. I tried saying hello.

She shot me with a 12-GA slug. It collapsed my ribcage and I died before anything else happened.

I really dig how the combat functions on a basis of injury, not HP. It's possible to kill in one hit with your fists, or get stunlocked by a dog and mauled to death. It's also possible to take on entire platoons alone if you get a little lucky and know how to rock their asses. Fun as hell, if slightly frustrating.

It was like three bucks.
Buy this game.

Pretty good, but make sure you have a good controller before you buy. Lots of fun to be had.

Bleed is fun, but the only playable character is a pink-haired ♥♥♥♥♥. 2/10

Really fun. Killed at least a hundred people with a Bowie Knife and a nailgun, shived a few reptiles, nuked a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥ and then shot zombies with a rocket launcher. Solid like 8/10 video gaming experience. Super duper.

Like Skyrim, with guns.

I bought the THQ collection because of the genuine bargain I was getting for the various neat shooterz and the Darksiders Duo.

Didn't pay this a lot of thought. Jerma's been streaming it lately, and he's having a blast, but whatever.

HOLY HECK, MAN.

Performance is top notch, runs perfectly. Settings are easy to configure, everything is good, zero complaints on any front. The weapons are interesitng, satisfying, fun to use, and downright punchy with a cool visual and audible design. The music is comfortable in the background, just like the characters and the fairly par-for-the-course story. The controls are perfectly responsive.

BUT THIS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME

Man, you can watch the trailer. The level of destruction is insane, and the crazy situations you can get yourself into are equal parts severely badass and totally hilarious.

But this as soon as you possibly can. It's easily worth the fully asked price of $20.00, and if it goes on sale and you turn it down, god help you.


tl;dr I like this game and it's probably one of my personal favorites

This is a really fantastic game- but it's not a forty dollar game. That's the best I can tell you. BUY IT; No doubt about that- you ought to buy it. But buy it at 50% off, like I did.

This is a pretty standard brawler. There are some small optimization bugs, and the game is fairly repetative, but it's challenging, brutally violent, and I find it relaxing.

7/10, better than most games of the same type.
